It's because Ferrari has contracts with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc and 2 cars that accommodate one driver each.

That's why F1 needs at least 2 more new teams! This is ridiculous...so many top drivers can be racing in F1 but because of a monopoly the public is deprived! 👎

When Mercedes were top-dog Toto could afford to offer parsimonious terms to talented drivers like Sainz, but now when they are in the mid-field they ought to be more realistic. The much-heralded Antonelli could turn out to be a damp squib in F1, who knows. My advice to Sainz would be to take a long-term view and sign with Audi.

Aston should move Stroll to another team or race formula and then Sainz to take the seat to become and become Alonso's teammate, Aston needs two drivers to be getting points consistently.

If merc wants that young kimi kid, then Sainz has some rough choices left. Sauber and williams are horrible, and haas not too far behind. It's a shame ferrari dumped him for an aging and declining hamilton.

I think you’re right about that. They suspect that Audi will snatch him. Why put the effort in for that short time? Let Sainz wither away on his own , let’s go for a young talent instead.

This way Toto can disguise the fact Mercedes is second worse works team after Alpine for yet another year. Princess George and a rookie buy him another year whilst being beaten by customer teams. Being challenged / beaten by McLaren an Aston Martin would be unacceptable. Even Ferrari didn’t f*ck up like this ever before.

Sainz deserves a better seat than at Mercedes they've fallen and can't seem to get back up.

Lewis’ early announcement has thrown everything to the spanner. Generally it would have been the mid season break and likes of Sainz would have had better clarity about which doors are open. Now it’s way to early for Perez contract extension to be ruled out

Tsunoda should leave Redbull to Mercedes. Redbull will never give Tsunoda the chance to cut his teeth in a race winning car. At least at Mercedes, he can prove himself against a high caliber driver and score points every week. Perez will then step down to the VCARB, and Sainz will climb into the Redbull.

if sainz was as good as people make him out to be he would be settled already, just proves no one really believes in him and honestly i dont see anything special about him, he doesnt stand out, yea he wins but so did others at the bottom end.
