Listen. If u look at the Mets during that horrendous losing stretch they had earlier this season at a minimum 7 of those games were lost because of bullpen meltdowns notably losing a game up 6 in the ninth inning and a few other outstanding instances. If those games had the cookie crumble in the Mets favor which simply means keeping a lead after 8 innings, Mets would be at minimum tied with ATL for the 1st place wild card slot. Let’s be honest Mets are a playoff team and if the right strings are pulled and Mets are buyers I can see a 1st place wild card berth undoubtedly. Lgm
