Well, like Kyrgios, Alcaraz is an entertaining player with a bad tactic. If he wants to be maximally successful he should push the ball back in play in a consistent manner instead of playing difficult trick shots. Djokovic and Medvedev has understood what tactic is most efficient.

Federer was very fast on the court, too, but he made it look effortless. It's easy to overlook his speed (and other attributes) when it looks like he's not trying. His coordination, graceful movement and uncanny ability to read the play put him one step towards the ball than most other players.

When Alcaraz had his breakthrough at the age of 18, many still doubted. But how can you have any doubts about that? It's not just its impact hardness. It's his Tennis IQ
After RF retired, I was emotionally done with Tennis, knowing fully well that Novak will find the rest of them easy & Nadal was just forcing his body, until I saw Alcaraz play, kid has brought me back. I love how he makes it seem effortless while enjoying himself. Tennis has been boring & 1-dimensional since RF retired, Alcaraz has brought some spice baseline grinders hate- dropshots.
