I think JCF plays a huge role in continuously keeping him focused. I just hope he stays healthy

@@headhuncho8550 I think his health issues are overemphasized. He was just unlucky having 2 muscle tears in a row, besides that he wasn't injured since the US Open 2021.

Have you tried shooting the pod in a three shot? For me, the heart of the charm of the pod is the chemistry/dynamic amongst you three. Perhaps there's an angle and lens that can capture that visually. I mean as long as you're experimenting . . .

It's not as simple as you state it. Medvedev was hitting his forehand at 80 mph vs Carlos 74 mph but daniils positioning was his problem. Additionally Carlos was extremely solid, he went big only when he had to. Plus his spot serving was literally spot on.

I think Alcaraz is really benefiting from the oncourt coaching being allowed. I'm not saying this negatively either, as a fan I enjoyed it. If you speak spanish, you can hear JCF tell Alcaraz to calm down when he's getting carried away. Or on the first set point, you could hear him say 'enter crosscourt' and then Alcaraz hit a slice serve out wide and followed it in. I'm really surprised by how much I enjoyed hearing the plan and then seeing him execute it.

Great point. I think it makes a huge difference if the player is relatively inexperienced. Of course the more he plays the more he can execute totally by himself, but JCF definitely helps him stay focused.

@@z1az285 I think its a legendary player/coach pairing. I feel like there's a Nadal/Uncle Toni-esc level of trust. Hopefully we'll get to see lots more of the two together

@@fretstain i would say it's a healthier relationship. Toni's training sessions were brutal. JCF makes him work really hard, but like Moya it's smart and strategic so Carlos stays motivated. For toni it was more about quantity based on everything I've read. It worked upto a point when Nadal was physically fast. Not after 2014 though. And toni himself suggested a change in coaching duties. JCF is aligned with Carlos in every way. Both Moya and him are very similar, game wise and attitude wise
