Hi Darryl, I have just recently sold this lens to get a Voigtlander APO 2/35.It is a very sharp lens renders nicely. Lens hood, very expensive, here in Aus. C.R. Kennedy charges AUD 200 for it. @@DarrylCarey Hi Darryl, I have tested the Voigtlander APO 2.0/35mm on my Leica SL (601) via Leica M to L adapter and on Fujifilm XT-3 via Fujifilm M to X adapter. I could not be happier with its image quality (mainly landscape). It is much bigger and heavier lens than CZ ZM 2.8/35, lens that is excellent. If you are planning to keep ZM and looks of it is somewhat important to you get Zeiss lens shade, else cheap one from eBay is ok,

I'll also echo the praise of this glass. I also use it on an M6 TTL with nice results. I must be much less sensitive to the hood intrusion as I needed to go pick up the camera/lens after watching this and do some critical viewing and realized that I hadn't noticed the intrusion enough to remember it. I wear eyeglasses so my eye relief is likely a bit rearward of yours and the vented hood provides very little distraction to the viewfinder view for me. On my old CL (rf window closer to the lens), I find that simple, generic hoods prevent rf problems as they somewhat follow the diameter of the lens and this may be a cheap experiment for you.

Darryl, I haven't yet confirmed wether or not this hood vignettes (haven't had my film processed!), but was in the same predicament as you and came across the Canon EW-43 lens hood for the EF-M 22mm pancake! Cost me 20 bucks and there are cheaper aftermarket versions. Keeps it very compact, minimal viewfinder intrusion and looks the part if you ask me! Seeing you have a M10, perhaps you can confirm quicker than me! Shouldn't be a problem as the hood is designed for 35mm equivalent and the Zeiss is more like a 36/37mm.
