Carl Karcher was very conservative and Christian and was heartbroken by all the sexualized ads of the 2000s of his company he founded on Christian principles. He was forced out of his own company in 1993 by his board of directors over a conflict on strategy. I attended St Catherine's Military School, next to St Bonafice, where he and his wife would always attend mass. He always gave to charity and took us kids out for a meal.

I admit, those commercials were and still are guilty pleasures. But I'm glad we don't have them anymore, especially since they didn't have any sexualized men to even out the score. Now they can focus on what really matters: the food. With integrity.

Amazing commercial & mktg Not only did they blame a fictional person for their sexual ads but the ad it self out showed style & class, highlighted its fast-food/food accomplishments, and establish it self as a classic American business

I think there was indeed a change in CEO/CFO/CMO or whoever, so they decided to symbolize it with this ad.

Plus Carl's Jr is supposed to be about burgers not advertise hot sexy women with burgers.

I really hope this signals they are done with those tasteless adds.

You saying that all women are easy exploits? I disagree. While I'm sure the women that Carl's Jr. did consent to expose themselves for the cameras for sex appeal, it shouldn't be used on a regular basis and open.Women should be presented as human and equal to men, and not as a sex toy to boost customer satisfaction. Life is meant to be fulfilled, experienced, and enjoyed, not to tickle the privates. This includes food.
