I have no doubt that our Australian and NZ reputations earned in WWII are thoroughly deserved. I hope we would earn it, and deserve it again, in the event of another World War. Ideally, however, such a war will never be necessary, and will never be fought, and we will never need to put ourselves to this test. May diplomacy keep us safe, and international sports remain as our nations’ battlegrounds, now, and forever.
I wish everyone in the whole universe should be like an aussie! Aussies are number one. So blessed to be on this part of the world. Thank you Australia!

A lot of this attitude towards plane issues could also be because of plane crashes in Australia being very rare, in fact QANTAS is the worlds safest airline. The northern hemisphere is much more familiar with air disasters, bombs etc
And it's very contagious to internationals like myself! I definitely became more relaxed and life-loving after living among them for a few years. Aussies and Australia are much more special than how they see themselves when we talk deep shit ☮🇦🇺
