"Thank God You're Here..." A totally unscripted performer had to walk through a door onto a set that contains actors who are fully scripted. They then had to wing their way through the scene for the next 5 minutes, in front of a live audience.
Watch as some of your favourite celebrities walk through the door into the unknown...It's all about the enjoyment of seeing them pushed into their discomfort zone where they have to think on their feet lie, deceive and basically bull@$#*!

@@ALLRNDCRICKETER I tend to be rather ambivalent about the return of this show. The original had some great stuff, truly hilarious, and Shane was a terrific host. I sincerely hope this new series can live up to what has preceded it.

Yeah that was the setup for sure!
Im not really a comedy person but loved watching this show, the concept is gold, it's as funny when the comedians are sharp or even when they're not (i vaguely remember the ep with Jimoin who could hardly provide quick answers and it was hilarious)

The whole bit was awkward humour. It’s hilarious when you understand it but it’s not for people with small brains tbh

It was, yes. Season 4 aired on 7, but everyone seems to forget that and continue to treat the show as a gem of 10.

I understand stand up is hard but sometimes it sucks they loose such witty lines 😂 he had the opportunity to put in a fast food line or anything haha but love Carl and his dry sense

I KNEW he looked familiar...
So much potential easy comedy gold here, but Carl missed them! Big fan, but clearly struggled in this spontaneous format.

It's a great concept, but the show gets boring quickly. When I watched this some years back, it felt too rigid. You get a hilarious guy like Shaun Micallef on there, then try to steer him too much. Just trust actors like Shaun to work/lead a scene. Give him some props to play with, some actors to bounce off, point a camera at him, and let the chaos ensue.
