I love this semi-lowpoly aesthetic. It reminds me of the games I grew up playing, like Morrowind and Mount & Blade. They've perfectly hit the balance where it's low quality but not ugly like some of those games were.

This is very much a Sea Dogs remake, at least looks like it. Sad that the graphics is outdated.

Question for developers: Would you recommend playing "To Each His Own" now (I own the game, never played it) and then revamp or should I skip TEHO and just wait for the revamp?

The game is very replayable. If you like it, you'll ptobably play it more than once. So if you're ok with graphics of TEHO, play it and then compare to CL.

Loved these games back in the days! What are the main differences between this new game and City Of Abandoned Ships?? As I suppose it will use same engine also. And also the difference from this game, the old ones and the Sea Dogs: Legendary Edition?

Well, different story, characters, better visual part, rebalansed weapons, sailing system. Can't explain, but i tryed playing CoAS, it feels old (even) compared to TEHO as for me

Hopefully they’ll let mods for like adding the black sails cast, flint/silver and others…

Character models replacing won't be a problem as I know. Also there is an unofficial Black Sails quest for TEHO. I hope it will be updated for CL

@@dArtagnangaming TEHO sux. I hated and loved it, but the first part ABSOFUKNLUTELY sux. The middle boarding combat is crap if u don’t have enough men, and the canister fire hardly damaged other crew. Can’t even find the box to make grenades with. 👎🤔🙄

I've played the whole game like 3 times, but never took Tortuga from a ship in this quest. It's not necessary, you can choose another way, which is recommended

I wonder if the 1:14 footage is actually real gameplay footage or it's just cinematic video? I also hope that they redesigned those old COAS islands which looked very bad in my opinion.

Yeah, as I know by now, the workshop is on the list. Either it will be ready by the release date or at least you'll be able to replace resource files manually, like in TEHO

Great game. Very surprised that this indie game is so much better than Skull and Bones. Happy, but surprised.

@@dArtagnangaming Basic mods like hookmod to make the game playable, full in game map, increased speed on world map, few texture replacements for characters on that Russian site and music replacements. COAS had full conversions like GoF and you could actually tinker and change the stats in game files to your liking which you can't do in TEHO because they are not there, you had to unpack the game and even then half the stuff is not possible like it was in COAS. That is why the game like COAS is still alive and kicking even now after almost 15 years...

even if the asset are the same after years, i wonder how does it fares next to AOP2 eras or gentlement of fortune? with more than 100 ships, 100 weapons, 50 playable capitains? the perk systems looks better, but if its the same game with just story parts , no direct sanbox mode and 1 capitain for 40 ships i dont really see the apeal.

I liked the english version better than the russian one. Probably because the constant "You" in the russian version and the pathos of the speech don't cut the ear so much...

Skull n bones was so bad it's literally saving other pirate games that deserve it People are seeing how much better options there are from smaller studios at the fraction of the cost. Love the irony #f*ckAAA

Imagine this kind of game, but with todays graphics instead of this over used 2003 graphics. This is pretty much shovelware at this point
