Inspite of the treatment meted out to them by Europeans, Jamaica hasn't forgotten them. God bless Jamaica! One of the main reasons why Colonization was so successful was that the British successfully sowed the seed of division and discontent within a country and between countries. The British feared real unity and only wanted unity under the crown. For hundreds of years this disunity was allowed to fester and encouraged to grow because the more we are divided, the more control the British had over us. From a young age, I learned this disunity, between people, between parishes, and countries. My grandmother for example, hated people from the Parish of St. Thomas in Jamaica and disliked Trinidadians, as she declared both are not to be trusted. In fact, I cannot remember her speaking highly of any other Caribbean Island. For a long time, I also lived what I learned. It is safe to say Caribbean countries have an inherited dislike for each other because we only seem to speak about each other in negative terms. Most but not all, Trinidadian love to list everything that is wrong with being a Jamaican and a Jamaican can list everything that is wrong with being Trinidadian. The same can be said about every other island in the Caribbean, as we continue to propagate that British division. We have a crab in a barrel mentality, and we are not united, which is why the White Western World Order can so easily have their way with us. The fact is, we are too small and too poor to continue with this rubbish. I remember in West Indian History class the professor said, if we were to do a genetic study of the Caribbean, we would find that a lot of us are related. Because the British were not against splitting up families and sending them to different islands. To my brothers and sisters of the Caribbean, you are loved, you will get nothing but love and respect from me. My we find strength through unity and may we prosper together! One Love!

I think you need to travel a little bit a do some serious reading, if you think the British are the only one colonized the word or the only successful one you have a sad delusion, from other African tribes,countries, other European countries and even till this day, slave are alive and living in Africa, China, India, the Arab wolf you name it. So if you really think the Caribbean is the only one who went through that, this region had it easy and is made rich from it, some countries up till today can’t even come close to the wealth of the Caribs and they are bigger and older nations. You have a lot of hate in your heart, I pray you realize it and release it before it’s too late. Name me a country on earth with perfect unity and I’ll wait. It starts with us to make a difference.

I agree with being unified. Different countries but ONE CARIBBEAN REGION. I did my DNA test and the Indian in me shows that I have relatives in Guyana, Trinidad and as far away as Fiji. Let’s live good; we are one big family.

Here we have someone describing the coat of arms of a country and for 2/3 of his description we are seeing videos of non related items half the time that's after the coat of arms was flashed across the screen for less than 30 second in the begining. Got to correct the producer of this programme about Dominica Quote of Arms moto, (Apres Bondie' cest La Ter) which means After God is The Earth.

Dominica: the frog is pronounced Crapo (crapaud). The Canoe represents the native Kalinago people who traversed the region and who still live in Dominica today and our connection to the sea. Also, clearly many of the images shown here for Dominica are that of the Dominican Republic. Thats the other country that called itself dominican ages after we were already established. 13:33. Those arent our parrots, in fact, its illegal to capture and domesticate our national bird. there are 2 parrots on the coat of arms. the other is the Jacko parrot. the words on our coat of arms means AFTER GOD, IS THE EARTH. Its crazy that you all chose to use images of dominican republic for my nation, its actually quite insulting.

Funny that the flag of Antigua you can find the original more or less in the old Norfolk flag UK I have done my family history and both my mother and my father both from Antigua don't have no African in our family not all skin folk is kin folk.
