You've sold me on this backpack. I've been looking to change from the 3V Gear Velox II backpack. The 3V backpack is good for traveling but not so much for college. This backpack has more of the organizers I'd need for pencils, calculators and the such. Also looks like there's enough space to store my work uniform. Keep up the great reviews, George!

I got a $200+ Jordan backpack and that started having zipper problems with in a year and I was really disappointed...the back looks amazing but dosen't last so that's why you need to buy a bag like this! Its realistically functional

Hey Camp Kemp, Sport brand backpacks are really hit and miss. This Carhartt bag is built like a tank. If you need a hard use backpack you can do a lot worst than Carhartt. Thanks for the comment ✌️

Love Carhartt stuff and I really like this pack! I do kinda wish they hadn’t sprayed the membrane on the bottom. When it starts cracking, it’ll be an eyesore.

Nice looking bag for the steel mill where I work. My "dress down" office lol.

Hey JMP, This pack is definitely made for hard use. It don't see much hard use at my job occasionally the copier breaks but that is about as hard as it gets. Thanks for the comment 👍

Really cool review - I was going to buy a much more expensive bag, but saw this one, and your review sealed the deal. I'm buying one. *** Well paced, logically moving out, the things I want to know -- unlike some of the reviews where I want to jump into the sun half way through. Thanks for the great review. You kind of glazed past the zippers, and I can only make out the "YKK" part. Are they metal zippers? They look kind of chintzy in the video, but it's hard to tell. I wear out backpacks like a runner wears out shoes, and the zipper is usually the first to go.

Hey Ben, YKK zippers. The whole pack is solid. Sorry I missed that. They are the zippers you find on like surplus military gear. Heavy Duty. They are metal zipper in like a gold color. See ya ✌🏾

How do you like the Carhartt bags compared to Eberlestock Switchblade? I've watched both of your videos on the Carhartts and I watched your video on the Switchblade. I'm looking for an grayman get home bag. The concealed carry and slim design of the Switchblade seems up my alley. I have used Carhartt everything for years working outside in the elements so I know they can take a beating, but can it blend in and look just like an everyday bag?

Hey ICP, They sprayed a water repellant chemical (Rain Defender DWR) to the fabric. It's not waterproof. If your looking for waterproof I suggest Yeti or one those roll tops or put a cheap dry bag inside regular backpack. I hope this helps. ✌️

Dude anyone that's worked and I mean real work! Knows carhartt is the working mans designer lol because if you have carhartt on anything you spent alot...its like having redwing boots...good ones are $200 all day for a pair...$400 for an amazing life long pair of boots!

One, you reviews the deluxe too. Carhartt, pay this man. Imho, you should ditch the background music. Very annoying, it's just this constant "tsh tsh tsh tsh tsh" that you absolutely don't need.
