I have this task to do as well, complicated by the nature of my original build. When I started to watch this I did not expect you would have done anything different. However your approach to the build and the order in which you did things was different, and very helpful in my own planning. Thank you.

Nice. Very nice to have a garage door tall enough to work inside. I don't have that luxury. I am sticking with windows that fit between the wall studs, but I like how you substituted the plywood to support where the studs were removed.

I found it very useful, I've not seen another video that made a header out of plywood to support the beams your cutting thru like this. Not that others don't, I've just not seen one. I was thinking i would have to weld some cross bracing on top and bottom, and was worried about the heat peeling paint on the skin if i did. I was thinking just weld the interior face, and pop rivet some homemade L brackets in the four corners of the inside area. Very glad i watched this.

We found a totaled camper on Craigslist that the owner was parting out. We bought 2 windows from him for $40.

Brett Morrill I thought about using an angle grinder, but that could have damaged the wooden frame and wouldn’t have cut the rounded corners as well as an oscillating saw. It takes longer, but it’s a better tool for the job.

Found a guy on Facebook that was parting out a totaled camper. We pulled the windows out and paid him $40.
