With more than 18 years of experience working in Gurgaon, he is here to discuss his journey and his learnings that have helped him to set his practice. He completed his MBBS from Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Medical College in 1998 and M.D in Psychiatry from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in 2002. After that, he has worked in some of the leading hospitals like Safdargunj Hospital, LNJP, G.G.S Medical College, and many more. Currently, he is working as a Senior Consultant at Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj along with practicing in his own clinical setup Medhope Clinic. This session helped to clear a lot of pertinent questions regarding the pros and cons of Psychiatry as a PG branch. As Sir mentioned rTMS and other modalities will definitely come into mainstream psychiatry practice and we might see more Interventional Psychiatric facilities in the near future. Hello Dr. Rahul and Dr. Ayushi. I need some advise from Dr. Rahul. If a MBBS doctor has 2 year plain post experience in psychiatry and manages to clear MRCPsych UK, can this person practice Psychiatry in India? Is such a practice possible. I know the teaching jobs won't be available. I am interested in Private Practice....

Yes but they have MD in Homeo Psyche. I think thats different than ours
