Thank you. Very valuable tips. For people over 15 years in the IT, companies are expecting width in their skills as much as depth.

Work hard. Work very hard. That is very true. Window for evaluation by someone at top is very limited. More participation aka hard work. Atleast you would be visible even your performance is so so. If you need job to sustain, then work hard. Simple

Going into AI in 2024 by doing a data analytics course. Python, R, SQL, VBA, Excel etc are the norm these days in AI roles. AWS comes later.

3:25 I dont think Domain will be such a big deal. With ChatGPT, within private firms version, the LLM can give domain level recomendations much better than a human. So domain is not a niche any longer. Infact consultancy firms have already started using that, so its reality now.

So leave this privet shit and start preparing for something big!!!!

If you go back 50 to 60 years back, there was no IT, IT Service industry. People was there, survived and evolved. You are talking like "sky will fall", earth will end. Nothing going to happen. There is change in environment, due to this seasonal rains affecting and annual crops affected. No farmer crying and feeling same as yours. When computers introduced in India lot of people opposed it telling it will eat up all jobs due to its automation capability. Nothing happened, one more sector came with lot of jobs. Don't fall day and night telling "Job will go, AI comes, AI rule the world, Machine replace with Humans and their Jobs". It is just over hyped Hindi film story.
