Thanks for the review - what are the mount options for the rear battery pack - via 3M tap or inserting like side controller ? Thinking about the options for moving the 2nd unit between different helmets

the packtalk slim battery pack only has two different clips that are essentially prongs to insert between the shell and the hard foam. if you want to use 3m but also make switch between helmets, use velcro.

Does the Packtalk slim fit on the LS2 Vairant 2 helmet or is there a workaround for it? Or is Cardo bold a better fit?

According to Cardo Systems website, the only LS2 helmet that is compatible is the OHM. As for a workaround, I'd have to have the helmet to know. Hope you can find an answer.

My main takeaway - per your takeaway is helmet compatibility. Mine (Airtoh Commmander) is not listed ... I dropped Cadia a support ticket. Thanks again. maybe I might end up with Packtalk Bold ?!

yes! i love the concept of the slim, but limited compatibility kills it in the end

The charging port will fail eventually. This product has serious design flaws!!!
