These solid doors and danced-on floors
These painted walls that held all our thoughts
Welcome home, sweet solitude
Those early nights and those midnight flights
To get on home, just to be alone with you
There's not much change, between comfort and control
Can anybody help me?
Because there's nothing like this sound of silence
And I need your warm love, oh your warm love
I got to have your warm love
But it's killing me deep down inside
I need your warm love
That I can't hide
I'm moving slow and you're moving up
That new job you've got that you don't like that much
Have I held you back from living your life?
Can anybody help me?
Because there's nothing like this sound
Can anyone stop this loneliness?
The bright lights keep pulling me away
And I need your warm love, oh your warm love
I got to have your warm love
And it's killing me deep deep down
I got your warm love
That I can't hide
It's killing me inside
And I need your warm love, oh your warm love
Need your warm love
And it's killing me deep down inside
I need your warm love, that I can't hide
It's killing me inside
And it's killing me inside...

@@mattrussell106 I think it wasn't planned because he played with the finger he doesn't really use - the one which usually holds the pick when he's playing with fingers. The reason he doesn't use it is because of former abuse, there's a video where he explains the unique finger/pick transition and holding style. If it was planned he'd just use regular fingers, here he used index on reflexes IMHO.

Is it possible for Tom’s voice to be any warmer or more soulful. Accompanying him with female vocals and harmonies is heavenly. Finding the right tone and mood to match his voice as well as the song will definitely push Chris’s guitar playing to higher levels. The break @2:50 for the keyboards is killer! The change in dynamics, transition to the chorus and then the guitar solo is an awesome build up. If only every top pop song was this carefully crafted.
