I waited for the right man to get married, I was 27 when we married, I saved myself for my husband, so first sex was on our wedding night. We were married 48 years, 5 months and 4 days when he passed away, or as I say moved to heaven, 9/11/2018 and I miss him so very much.

This is weird, but I just watched the Dutch movie, "A Royal Affair". I know I shouldn't as a Christian..as Chynna says, I'm not sinless, I just sin-less. 🤔 it was partially based on Rousseau's books. I found myself offended, but couldn't stop watching.. it's amazing that you have brought him up.

Thank you for this. I was called names at my place of worship for not agreeing with the new agenda. They called me a name ending in obe..I am still after 8 years hurting in my ❤️.

It’s very hard to swim against the tide of popular culture. But in Christ all things are possible. May God lead more people to take a stand for biblical morals. Thank you Becket.

This video reminded me of so many popular phrases that have become mainstream in today's language. "Find your passion" and "tell your truth" (thanks, Oprah!). If it's "my truth" or "your truth", aren't we actually changing the definition of the word truth? Isn't truth outside ourselves? Isn't it objective, not subjective? If we change the definition of truth, so it's all subjective, then there are 8-9 billion truths. Isn't that "opinion"? So...there is no truth? 🤔 Well....there goes God! We all need to stay in the Word.🙏♥️🇨🇦

What we need to do, is to start clarifying for Christians early on that when the Word says fornicators go to hell, that fornication is sex outside of marriage. I’m an English major and even I was mistaken on what fornication was, I had learned it contextually years before and just thought it was another word for promiscuity. 😣

@@VelvetJazz true, but many people do not accept the Bible as the ultimate authority, and they say who the hell is st. Paul to tell me how I should live my life. Totally acceptable when a non Christian says such, but sadly many baptized Christians are living in a manner worse than atheists.

My heart weeps for our society knowing that I too was once in the demonic web of perversity and sin and so thankful for the redemption offered to me before it was too late. And I pray so sincerely that people like Cardi B have a true “coming to Jesus “ in their lives. Whatever it takes for them to escape from the devil’s snare is what I pray. Thank you for being the voice of the Truth of the gospel. The Lord is really moving through you to bring these messages to the masses in a very loving and respectful way. I pray the Lord’s influence through you reach many with the love and forgiveness found only in Jesus.

Sister I watched a few “highlights” on the news and I was so creeped out by all the “celebs” in their matching masks and the whole feel of the event and that was just a minute or so. It’s heartbreaking for the kids growing up in this. I pray for the little ones. As Jesus said “ it would be better for you to have a millstone around your neck and drowned at sea than to hurt children” paraphrasing lol. The whole system is leading kids away and astray and God is serious about that stuff. Gotta keep prayed up God bless you sister ❤️

It was mind blowing & sad. I closed my facebook account over 2 years ago & I DON'T miss it AT ALL.

I’d love to see Becket Cook on a Dave Rubin segment, discussing politics, culture, and religion. I love listening to Rubin and he’s recently gone from being agnostic to Judaism - somewhat - but I think he would deeply benefit from Cook’s spiritual authenticity and personal journey. Becket! Keep following what the Holy Spirit is calling you to do and speak about!! Many of us comfortable and older in the faith Christians need to understand these cultural changes and how and why they have came to pass. We are not of this world yet need to understand this world we live in. We have the cure of course its our Lord Jesus Christ but we can't just drop bibles on people laps and expect them to understand where we are coming from. It is through conversation that we persuade the unbeliever to give Jesus a chance. This generation is in complete bondage because of the anti christ Spirit that has been and is hard at work.

It's so worldly to be okay with an anything goes attitude, but that lack of self-control definately works against a fruitful life. Peace in Christ Becket-(yes- I watch Chynna too)

This is terrific, Becket. What passes as 'progressive' today, along with the marginalizing of the Christian church nowadays and biblical principles, actually started with the 'Age Of Enlightenment' writers (Rousseau amongst them), and then the Romantics, followed by Darwin, Marx and Freud. As Solomon said in Ecclesiastes: "there is nothing new under the sun". The world, in it's 'wisdom', has tried all of this before, but Our Father, His Son Jesus, and The Bible will continue to prevail. Lord willing, you will, too, Becket! Amen.

Rousseau plays an influential part in modern parenting. When I was a new mother I discovered that on demand feeding vs. scheduled feeding was controversial. It was politicized as liberal/progressive or old fashioned. My older, divorced, non mother sister argued with me about how I fed my baby. That's when I learned about Rousseau's influence. He was an unmarried, womanizing, childless or deadbeat dad social scientist. His views on parenting are respected? Unwise. So, I get where you're going.
