When I was younger, I went through a phase where I would watch many videos about the sinking of the Titanic. However, what is more unique, is that I would watch videos about Titanic models sinking. I eventually found this channel when I searched up “cardboard Titanic” one day (plus I wanted to try to make a cardboard model of the Titanic) and it was a great discovery in my opinion. Your first cardboard ship video, “The Incredible Footage of the Sinking of the Cardboardia” is one of my favorite Titanic-related videos as well as one of my favorite KZread videos of all and I loved how you included both footage of the ship sinking and the interior of the ship flooding (such as the grand staircase, dining room, etc.) I also find it impossible yet impressive that when you make these videos, the cardboard ships stay intact despite interacting with actual water. Based on this video, it does make sense that you film the ship sinking from only one side but that was only the beginning. I did not know that you used the nails that you put on your ships as tools to steer cameras that recorded the interior footage of flooding. (I also didn’t know you made the interior within the actual ship. I thought you had two separate models; one of the ship and another of the rooms.) I also can’t imagine how long it takes to build one of these ships and incorporate this system, only for it to be submerged underwater. To wrap it all up, this was a very interesting and surprising video. I too believe that many others wonder how you make these ships, let alone such amazing videos. I know this is a very long comment but I just wanted to word it as best as I could. I’m very impressed and I’m glad you made a video that explained how you make these!

Finally: what we've all been waiting for!! I knew that the interiors had to be part of the ships and not merely separate structures that are filmed on their own. The ships are just as detailed as I hoped, and I cannot be more happy about that. A single hole or two and weight at the bottom makes sense for an easy sinking, although it would've been cool if it varied based on what damage the ships take in the various stories. Having a side with windows that actually let light in to illuminate different areas is great too, though surely it'd be possible to add the same amount of detail to them as the other side of the ships, right? That's really clever with the nails rotating the cameras shooting inside: always wondered what they were for as I never saw any interior areas where they could possibly help with the ships' structure. And you are right: putting the camera at a low angle really makes them look a WHOLE lot bigger than they actually are. I could instantly imagine that thing at some dock towering over the people embarking _-(for some reason given CCL's less than stellar history...).-_ All in all, this is incredible work that you do. Well done, and I can't wait to see what becomes of this newest ship. It'd be nice to get an episode where it actually completes a voyage, *_for once,_* but that's probably never gonna happen sadly...

In a rain shower head they use a couple of plates with holes in them to remove the pressure but keep the volume. Very simple. You could use something like that to take the kick back the smoke bomb so it looks more like smoke and less like a rocket going down the smoke stack. Since you only need it to work once, Cardboard should would just fine. You'd have to test but I'd bet, pin holes in the first and nail holes in the second should work just fine.

It’s cool to see that there is an actual interior because I always thought that it was fake and not apart of the actual ship.
i love these behind the scenes! can you make a video on how to build a ship like this yourself?
I have been waiting for 1 year for this glad It came And can you Also show us how the wreck dives are made
Thank you. I've wondered how you accomplished the tasks.
Fascinating!
Let's appreciate this guy actually swims in the freezing cold water to film these videos
But can you make a full video of building cardboardia ships? Step by step?

Ys thats what I thought it was but no but this vid also helps
You made half of my child hood ❤️
This is amazing
In a rain shower head they use a couple of plates with holes in them to remove the pressure but keep the volume. Very simple. You could use something like that to take the kick back the smoke bomb so it looks more like smoke and less like a rocket going down the smoke stack. Since you only need it to work once, Cardboard should would just fine. You'd have to test but I'd bet, pin holes in the first and nail holes in the second should work just fine.
Your ships make me want to build my own carboard ships! Though I would make mine more like an ocean liner than a cruise ship.
I love it now I can finally make a carpathia thanks for the tutorial
amazing, just amazing.
I Al ways wondered this! Thanks for showing us!
These are so neat
wow this is so cool! ive always wondered
I always thought that there were holes one side of the ship, and you moved the cameras inside.
This person just calmly talking about how they make their incredible videos then it just *cutting* to the screams of the damned is hilarious imo
It’s amazing! What a wonderful video! Thank you! How do you recover videocameras after the ship sank?
Oh my! Wow! You are the king and queen of cardboard! Maybe you could build me a life size house out of cardboard that would be amazing to have a cardboard house made by the famous Architect Of cardboardia! I'm a saggy , soggy, sloppy mess! I can't stop crying over how beautifully brilliant you are! I just got a new puppy last week and I named her Chloe! I would probably pee myself and pass out if I ever Met you in person! I'm obsessed I have one of your sweat shirts and I literally Never take it off I've made cardboardia posters that I have all over my room! Oh my goodness it's a lovely site!!!
YES THE THING WE ALL HAVE BEEN WATING FOR
Cool behind the scenes vid.
This is fkn brilliant 🎉
Yess I have always been wondering how you make the ship sinks downward and how you record videos innside ur ships!
You mean to say these have been cardboard models this whole time? what will they think of next? amazing
I love your cardboard Titanic
Super impressive
Incredible
I personally use hot Glue in small amounts and small metal pins, which binds and reinforces it.
That's so cool! I've always wondered how you make and film them. I do have a question for you though; are those cameras waterproof or do you use something different?
Thanks for the tutorial :D
this very cool!! is this gonna be cardboardia 14 or 15?
Yes and I love you video
You should take the chance for one to get trapped in the ice, then we could have some fantastic interior shots of frozen state rooms :)
