Nice! I'm currently adding forged carbon to my 23 SP. Still saving up for the BST gold carbon wheels though as they are eye wateringly expensive! Ride safe fella 👍

Looks fantastic! I'm also looking to pickup a MT-10 SP gen 2 and turn into a "MT-10 SP M" :)

The bike is really looking good Rob can't se you out on the road enjoying the bike.

It's still in the office ! Yet to be even started for the very first time ! Weather has not been Cooperating very well. Soon I hope !!

😁😁😁 I made it myself. I have the tools do do this at home cause no one sells cool gear lol..

Rob - Did you ever do any more to secure the rad guards? Mine arrived from Ali Express and took some dremel grinding in 2 places on the carbon rad guards to make the OEM inner plastic panels fit into the carbon rad guards, but as you know the rad guards are missing several tabs to secure the 2 pieces together. I'm thinking about either permanently epoxying them together, or maybe try epoxying tabs to the new rad guards to try to make the fitment like OEM. If you still have yours mostly taped on, how is it holding up?

mine are from Yamaha Europe so they are factory fit with the side plate hardware. yeas do take your time and make sure you have a proper fit so that it doesnt cause any issues !

@@itsadyerthing Are you saying you got carbon fiber rad guards from Yamaha Europe?? I had no idea Yamaha was making carbon fiber parts for the MT-10!

@jeffgehman8344 no. Rad guard is the metal mesh. I think you're referring to the side pieces that attach to the rad and hold your flashers. Yeah they are junk ans a bish to deal with cause they do not attach to the inner plastic portion. I ended up ordered a 2nd set of inners and glued then to the carbon bits and then took some 3k carbon gloss wrap and wrapped the inner portion to match up with the outer section nicely. Worked like a charm. But yeah. Low quality.. and the flashers a get floppy so very easily now ! On the fence to swapping them out too. Most of the carbon bits are meh. I would not buy them if I had the choice again.

@@itsadyerthing Rob - Thanks again for the reply. Yes, you're right that I was referring to the panels that hold the flashers - the ones you say were the focal point reason for your whole CF build. I ended up cutting 4 small aluminum tabs (0.5" x 0.25" x 1/8" tick) and epoxying them to the new CF flasher panels in exactly the right spot to make the OEM inside panels fit securely to the new CF panels. Sooo ... it can be done! Albeit very time consuming and a PITA! 🙂

Where did you order the factory decals and badges for the intake cover? I can't find it on Yamaha Canada's website.

Go to the parts catalog for the 2023 or 2022 mt10sp. This can be found through the Yamaha-motor.ca website on the shop now and then service parts and then down the list is parts catalogue.

​@@HaydenHuang-10 you have to got to the parts catalogue for the stock bike. and o get the part numbers from there. www.yamaha-motor.ca/en/parts-catalogue here is whats needed. tuning fork badge is 1RC-2413B-01-00 you need 2pcs, left side emblem is BGG-2173E-00-00 and right side emblem is BGG-2173F-00-00. Hope this helps... as for the actual carbon pieces.. this are sold from Ali express. you can find them by searching stores. search MT10 Carbon, then you can sort out the new gen and old gen, try to deal with 1 store so you get best deal for bulk purchase and dont be afraid to negotiate shipping !!!! chat with the sellers of store directly, they want you money so they will do what it takes to help you too....

Amazon/aliexpress. Go with the MT09. You can search that.. Mind you.... you will have to pull your cable management and wires and hoses out some to pick up from the tightness!!! Your brake hose will also need to come up.. let me do a full walk around for you all..

@@yamimk thanks mate !!! The factory comfort seat fits same way to. A slight looseness but locked in place. But thank you for the update and enjoy your new gen MT10 !!!! A lot of fun and feels lighter through the tight twisties..

The real carbon parts look nice. I’m changing mine to carbon too, but I’m after the carbon tank covers to match first. Do not wrap anything in carbon fibre. It’s tacky, you’ll regret it compared to the real thing, you’ll notice it. It would certainly do my OCD right in. Buy the real carbon parts it’s the way forward 👌

Yep for sure.. !! I only temporarily wrapped the inner rad covers to get them to lock onto the outer covers and also now waiting on lower cowl so that was also a temp wrap too. Supplier said end of April is when they expect to see first samples of lower cowl. I sure hope they get the move one.. Here is where I got my product from at a much lower price than anyone else. We had some of that Chinese Carbon to try on our MT-10SP - none of it fitted, junk! Shame they can't copy it properly as the carbon its self is pretty good 🤣

I agree, the finish of the product is good looking but the fit of the product is subpar ! im just thankful i works out a deal with sellers to buy as a very low price, i have seen retailers that call themselves specialists in this selling this exact product from the same vendor at a very high price ! that would be a real poor experience for those who have little experience and expect the items to be simple bolt on ! sad.... if you know my channel and seen my history, you'll know where im from and what i so and you would know that Pyramid and we had business in past, got o my bio and get my contact info, reach out to me and ill share my real contact, we are always looking for quality goods. as we did offer some of you goods in the past... 😉😉

You should learn how to make carbon parts. Vacuum infusion creates really nice parts and is really easy, just takes some time
