I walk through the old town of Caravaca de la Cruz. This historical town offers a wide range of monuments dating back to medieval Islamic times. It also is the home of the Santuario de la Vera Cruz. In 1998 Caravaca de la Cruz was visited by Pope John Paul II during which it became the fifth Holy City of Catholic Christianity.
