Not understanding the difference between a young player who's only played a few senior games and young players that have played over 50 senior games is crazy

Yeah the average age argument is quite laughable when big money signings Madueke, Gusto, Caicedo & Palmer drag that average down. Clark, Mcconnell and Danns had a combined 217 MINUTES of senior level experience going into this game.

The three players Chelsea brought on before extra time cost a combined 150 million I'm pretty sure. The players Liverpool brought on cost less than those players yearly wages (possibly excluding Tsimikas). 2 totally different levels of players, and yet.

Let me put into perspective just how inexperienced some of those Liverpool youngsters are: - Jayden Danns had played 2 minutes of senior football prior to coming on. Not only that, he’d only been called up to train with the senior team for the first time a few weeks ago after a few amazing performances in the PL2. - Bobby Clark had played less than one half of senior football in both the premier league and the carabao cup this season. - James McConnell had started one match all season in the FA Cup against Norwich.

If Zach was actually trying to argue that Chelsea were equally inexperienced and young as Liverpool, that is a horrible take. If he is trying to be pedantic and say that people shouldn't be praising Liverpools lineup because of their age, and should be praising them because of their experience, then fair enough. Seems a bit pointless though. Chelsea fan thought about the final: Liverpool were the better team in the first 15-20 minutes. After Gravenberch went off, Chelsea were the better team for the rest of the 90, although not by a lot. Chelsea were absolutely awful in extra time. On the whole, Chelsea should have scored, but potentially deserved to lose. Hopefully we can play a bit better against Leeds

There's a difference between actively "blocking" a defender and just standing in a place where the defender runs into you. Endo is entitled to stand wherever he wants and if someone runs into him that's on that player. If he is actively blocking that's different but I don't know there was good evidence of him doing anything except standing in the way.

I'm not a fan of people who analyze football who are so easily hyper critical of other teams within and especially outside the Premier League but cannot come to criticize or always are inclined to make excuses for their own clubs. If this were PSG or Bayern or Barcelona or Real Madrid exactly in Chelsea's position, I don't think we would be talking about how their 1 billion pound starting eleven lost to Liverpool's reserves because they are "technically young." Either take the time to learn the nuances of team's conditions and environments across Europe or actually learn to criticize your own team

Ive gotta say as a Liverpool fan Gakpo is not great. In terms of age and physicality he is fine, plus he is not injured at least. But when it comes to the attacking players he is comfortably the least talented. The final was yet another anonymous performace. Thrilled to get the win regardless

Not only did Chelsea's kids cost 100's of millions more than Liverpool's, they are significantly more experienced. People aren't "making it out like", that is the case here. They are more experienced and significantly more expensive .
