Cara Weston's love affair with English cars started when she was very young. Her first car was an MGA, from which she quickly moved on to a TR3 and then a TR4, TR 250 with eyes somehow always set on the prize - a beautiful Jaguar. So, when the opportunity came, she decided to take a chance on this rundown E-Type even though it didn't look great and needed a lot of work. And Cara put in all the hard work!

A very nicely restored Jaguar E-Type, I love classic Jaguars and also other British classic cars, but more than the car I was impressed by the driver Cara, with whom we seem to be kindred spirits. I would be happy to drive down this beautiful road with her.

I think both women and men really do appreciate classic cars. It’s mainly a man’s labour of love. I own a pale primrose 65 e type. I love your car and It’s great to see and hear of your passion. Great work - and your e type looks amazing. Well done !!
Wow, Cara that is some beautiful roads to drive your beautiful car on! With these cars, it is more about the journey than the destination. Everytime I drive, I swear everyone else’s day just got better. Cheers from snowy Alberta.

Cara, great car, great video. I've driven on HWY 1 (PCH)....terrific road. I too have an E-Type. A 1969 Series 2 that is red. Like you, the hood has been up (Not running) for a while and am motivating myself, along with your video, to get it running. It currently has twin Strombergs and I have a triple SU setup that I am anxious to install. Enjoy your time with your "old friend".

Cara .. did you realize Your Jaguar (in this video) is making a perfect pitch E note! Which so happens goes along perfectly with the song/music you chose for this video! (Ok, ok music Aficionados, the key of the song is actually A. But the melody hangs around the E note, which is in an A chord.)

Thought about it but the guy who rebuilt my engine thought I should keep it on the original side. I find it goes plenty fast for me. I would like to change the gearing someday and get more high end like my TR-250 had with overdrive.
