I have long dreamed of equipping a car for installation on the roof of a Christmas Tree, hanging it all with garlands and driving around the city on the eve of the New Year. Listen loudly to New Year's tracks and amuse people on the street)
Along the way, handing out gifts to everyone in a Santa Claus costume.
Hands finally reached the realization of the idea.
I had to buy roof rails in regular places, a trunk from 2107 (don't ask why from the vase) to attach the trunk to the rails and already install a Christmas tree there.
The Christmas tree turned out to have a miniature fragile stand of 3 legs (not even 4) and decided to tie the Christmas tree with 4 tripwires for reliability, so that it would not have variations somewhere to come off on the road. Well, the tripod was pulled tightly by iron clamps to the trunk. The design does not look very reliable, but it has already withstood a couple of days of rides and even more than 60 km per hour (I think ropes solve).
3 street garlands were also thrown (balls of 15 meters, ordinary lights of 30m and another 20m)
Considering that the Christmas tree is not very lush, such a number of garlands turned out to be at the checkout.
I powered all the electrics through a Chinese 12V - 220V car inverter. I didn't even bother with connecting the inverter with terminals to the battery (the garlands are not worth it) and powered it straight from the smoking room.
A couple of hundred circles around the car on a stepladder and garlands were installed, connected and Zatesschiny. It turned out pretty, I liked it.
The exterior New Year's look of the car was ready. Now it remains to go out into the people and see the reaction of others. In order not to ride just like that, I decided to add and dressed in a Santa Claus costume. I also bought all sorts of little things like symbols of the year - magnets, calendars and put them in my grandfather's bag.
In this form, I went for a ride around my neighborhood and listened to New Year's tracks with the windows open, stopped at bus stops along the way, jumped out in a suit and gave gifts to all people) The reaction of the people was worth it! All this is filmed and documented.

I personally love it very much and when they start decorating the city, streets and shop windows with Christmas garlands, my mood even improves and everything becomes on a positive wave.
Perhaps this is my feeling and was the reason for the desire to create such a New Year's event.
