Yeah, it felt like I've lived a couple of lifetimes since I'd last set foot in there. It was eerie.

Nostalgia is a great sauce, but I can tell that you never let it override the sustaining lessons underneath and you never take life for granted or regret any memories - if that makes sense. Beautiful shots!

Thanks for the video. I have driven past Calder Park ThunderDome multiple times but have never had the chance to see inside or got to understand it's history. I also miss my 981 Boxster... a car that gives so much pleasure. Enjoy.

It’s always and interesting experience going back to places that had meaning especially from your distant past , sometimes a good idea sometimes less so like who had the audacity to build a garage in my grandmothers beautiful front garden and others like the WinterGarden in Auckland that still has its charm and is being beautifully maintained by the city. Great vehicle shots Peter but of course I wouldn’t expect anything less from you 😀

Oh, yeah... how freaky is that? The original footage was quite bumpy because I was walking briskly around the car, so I applied Premiere Pro's 'warp stabilizer' affect to smooth it out. I didn't notice what it did to the car until you pointed it out. Bugger... I'll have to walk a lot more smoothly next time and ditch the digital smoothing in post production. Thanks, mate.

Glad to see your camera bag DOES fit inside the trunk. 😂

Hey Derek. Mine is a base model, but it's blessed with the Sport Chrono package and the Sport Exhaust, so it sounds glorious! You won't regret the Boxster or Cayman. The M3 is brilliant - always has been. I won't say the Boxster or Cayman are better, but the driving experience is definitely special. Thanks for dropping in.

Thank you for the reply. Wanted a Porsche 911 since I was a toddler with my smaller replica of the 911 but watching all the KZread video of the Boxster I have changed my mind. Thx again.

Peter I actually have watched your video comparing the 911 and Boxster and you mentioning it was not worth the extra $$$ for the purchase of your childhood dream car. That video got me to sway more towards my decision.

Made me want to pamper mine but on the other side of the globe it’s a mucky mess and she’s forlorn in the garage
