In my region there's a national park, I've been living in my car in that spot for a year and I work in a pub nearby the park. It's the best decision I've made because no one is near you, all you hear is cow's and sheep, beautiful to wake up to.

I’ve decided to live out of my car. I’m tired of rent and tired of roommates! I can’t believe how much I’ll be saving living in my car. I love it! Having an SUV or Crossover seriously helps lol it’s the whole reason I bought my car! In case I fell on hard times, I could just pack up my essentials and be a free bird. I even have a gym memberships with 24hr access so I can shower anytime I need to for work! Got a P.O. Box for my mail, and bought a specialized air mattress for my car 🥰 I honestly can’t wait until I move out to start my adventures!

There's pros & cons to everything, you can stay in residential dwellings and barely make ends meet or live on the road and use the extra $ to do what you couldn't before. @@starlightandeverythingnice1650 hi Highlighted, it all depends upon your job and lifestyle. I would just bring a few clothes the shoes you know you going to wear those cleaning body wipes. A sleeping bag it gets cold at night, a small trash can and 4 gallon plastic bags, some hygienic supplies, air freshener a thermal cup that keeps your drinks cold or hot a gym bag when you go to the gym to shower, window shades you can get them at Target in the baby section or any car place. Straps 2 hold your belongings in place. A thermal Food Bag eating utensils and supplies Maybe a hot plate. clear plastic containers to keep clothes organized. Then any Electronics such as your laptop or phone and accessories that you may need plus some solar panels to charge them. And I personally would keep a Bible on hand, it is your best protection. I'm new to this too I only been in my car for maybe three weeks. But this has helped me.

Christine Duval I did the same thing for a year but with a VW camper van; 44 States and a little bit of Canada. Was an amazing experince! One thing I did a bit of, depending on where I ended up was to go to a hotel/motel and explain to the staff that I'm traveling alone, can't afford a room so am sleeping in my van and ask if so could stay in their parking lot just for the night. Some asked for ID but I was never turned away. Saved a lot of money and felt a little safer than just sleeping anywhere.

LivTheGreatTV Just the alternator and two flat tires. Before I left I had a mechanic friend go through it bumper to bumper and do some work on it, paid him for it. He showed me some basic maintence things and I had AAA for emergencies (had to be towed once). It was one of the best experiences of my life and encourage everyone to do it to one degree or another. I planned on it being 3-4 months but stretched it out to 13 months (working on a horse farm for 2 months, staying at hostels and campsites and with some distant family and family of friends helped a lot). Good luck!

Okay change of plan. I'm gonna live in an SUV and decorate I t kinda like this when I turn 18....I'm 12....no worries I just need a job which has a free RV park to stay in, and I would only need a portable electrictric stove I guess lmao.....I would need a few small boxes fox miscellaneous items and shelves for clothes, I dont wear much lol. I would probably buy one of the camping showers......a bucket for u know what, a water tank:) oh yeah and a cooler!!! And a few utensils in a small bag, a tiny table and cutting board.....ramen too...okay I'm taking this far. Basically in a nutshell imma go live in a 2nd hand SUV which I would take to the garage for fix ups then put the crap I need in it 👍

Slept in my job's (USPS) parking lot until I saved up for an apartment so it was easy breezy. I hope to van/RV dwell in the future. Thank you for sharing your experiences!

Kamar Brando Your story makes sense as to why you did what you had to do. This is my first time seeing this, maybe she got divorced also. Otherwise, I don't get this at all. It's not safe. But, I had a friend going through a divorce and I offered her a room. She was too proud and slept in her car, even in her storage unit at one point but was lying to me about it. She showered at the gym she told me. Her car/house was in an accident so she rented a truck and slept in that. See these circumstances are by force. Why would someone choose to do this? That's why I'm subbing to this channel to see her story. She's an extrovert. I wish her success.

OrganicallyNique - To each their own. Millions of people live in homes worldwide BUT live paycheck-to-paycheck and NO SAVINGS. Several people have lived in their vehicles simply to save money to BUY a home with CASH and live a MORTGAGE FREE life. Lots of house poor folks with homes (as in, you have a home but after paying the mortgage or rent, you are broke and barely making it). I'd live like this any day to save up more money. One KZreadr saved up over $200,000 in less than two years and purchased her home last year (she has a good paying job). So while you may be comfortable moving from room to room in a home, are you comfortable FINANCIALLY? Do you have at least $25,000 minimum stacked away for an emergency 🤔 (i.e. lost of employment, eviction/foreclosure, etc.).

Honestly i have so many questions because I’m confused what started this but i don’t feel like it’s my place to ask . But i do salute you for doing it after me and my mom lost my dad in 2016 from cancer . She wanted to move out of the house we lived in because he died in the house and it was hard for her i stayed by her side . It brut me to leave the house because that’s the last place my dad lived . Soon after we got permission to move we had started looking for a new palace . We used the money we had to clean the house and make sure she would get her deposit back . We had a lot to clean because other family lived there i had just moved home 3 months before my ex was abusing me anyways . Once the house was clean the landlord came to check it to see if she would get her money back so we could get into the new place . The landlord actually didn’t give my mom anything back which caused us to become homeless we didn’t have any money to get into a place . I lost my job before all this happen so i had used my last check to help her and get movers . I hate I’m crying right now the look on my moms face I’ll never forget she was so scared and it hurt me because i couldn’t do anything to help . I had sold stuff to keep us in a hotel but that only lasted 3 days tops. My mom had just had 3 strokes one day before my dad died and she’s disabled herself . I did everything in my power to make sure my mom had a bed to lay in every night i begged friends to let me stay with them and my mom could get a hotel alone because it’s cheaper all my friend turned on me because i had took my ex back family hated me also . I cried so much i kept asking my dad to help us in heaven everyday i wanted to kill myself because i couldn’t help my mom after she took care of me all my 24 years of living she didn’t let cps take us . When i say my mom and dad i mean my grandparents my birth mom was a drug addict . I had found a Job it wasnt something i wanted to do but it gave me the chance to save money and get me and my mom into a house . 3 days after we moved in i lost my job all over again and we found out my mom had stage 5 kidney failure and cancer. All this recently happened here i am once again letting my mom down again i haven’t found another job so now these bills aren’t getting paid . My mom is so depressed she won’t say it but i can tell because we are about to loss everything we have it’s killing me i promised my dad I’d take care of her but i can’t even do that . I didn’t mean to come on your video and post this whole book just seeing you doing this brought back those memories . I love how your doing it because you want to do it not because you had no place to live . That’s some courage i wish i had . It’s like your an inspiration which is weird lol . It’s really amazing don’t let anyone stop you from being great . Maybe i should take my own advice but right now i can’t even take my own advice because i can’t even get anything right . Its getting exhausting hiding this pain i can’t show my mom I’m scared . Someone has to be the strong one unfortunately that’s me . I just don’t understand why i can’t find a job i feel like God hates me and i shouldn’t feel that way especially both my parents were pastors owned their own church . I was raised in church until my dad got sick we stopped going . I just hope i can hold on for a little bit longer i just have to find away to earn money so my mom doesn’t have everything cut off this is the point where I’m going to have to do things i don’t want like selling my body because i can’t even find a job and i can’t wait these bills won’t wait either . Okay I’m really done typing this book I’m sorry i typed this book i needed to cry and let it out . You don’t have to even take time to read it you can delete it i don’t mind . I just wanted you to know your really amazing for doing what you do i mean that ❤️❤️

Queen Arii First of all, God doesn't hate you. Always remember that sometimes in life you have to go through the bad times in order to get the good. I have been through homeless-ness and hard times like many people...it's very difficult but just never give up. God will help you as long as He knows you're trying. I understand how hard it is finding jobs, but keep trying! Don't be so hard on yourself. You sound like a very strong, amazing person and i'm sure everything will get better and you will find a great job when the time is right:)

Laura Byrd you made me cry your right i am being hard on myself because feel like I’m not trying hard enough . I know i am but at times i feel like it’s not enough . It hurts when your own family start telling you that I’m not trying hard enough . If i wanna Job i have to get up and go find one . Everyone knows places here in San Antonio Texas don’t do applications in person . It’s always online I’ll call everyday after i apply for a job but i never get a call back . I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong on the application and why nobody will help me . I’m 24 years old my whole life has been where i could never leave home . You know most teenagers when they turn 16 they go work at McDonald’s or somewhere. My parents didn’t allow me to do any of that it was always go to church , school and home . Until i turned 18 and moved out but in all honesty i don’t know what I’m doing . I don’t know anything about life because i never had that experience where my parents showed me how to live if they died. I don’t know how to drive like I’m so scared if my mom dies today I’m going to be so lost because i don’t know how to live if that makes sense . When i moved out i moved in with my brother and his wife and my girlfriend but even with that i still never got the freedom i wanted don’t get me wrong i went places but i never had someone one on one show me ways to survive and things like that . I’m sitting here trying so hard to learn life but i don’t know the first thing about it . I’ve spent my whole life living how my parents wanted me being a preachers kid isn’t easy . I was in the worse domestic relationship with my ex girlfriend but i stayed with her because she made it feel like she is the only person who wants me to experience life and do what makes me happy instead of doing what my parents wanted i have to suffer because i have no guidance. I have. Brother but he doesn’t care about anything by himself my birth mom only calls when she needs money . Nobody notices me and the pain I’m in i keep telling myself everything will be okay but i can’t even convince myself that’s true everyday i have to fight myself and these thoughts i have because everyone depends on me for everything in life

Queen Arii I know, it's soo frustrating doing applications online cuz they're so long with lots of questions and most of the time nobody calls back:/ Every job that i got, I went in person to ask for the manager and ask if they're hiring. Remember to smile and act super bubbly/friendly to increase your chances. Out of every 50 applications i do it seems like only 1 person calls back lol. But you just gotta keep trying. Everybody who has a job has to go through this. Places like mcdonalds and other fast food places, even walmart are always getting rid of old workers and hiring new ones. Trust me!! Keep trying! it's annoying, but do NOT let it get you discouraged! I'm so sorry you haven't had the best of luck in past relationships. I have been in the same spot, but sometimes you realize that being alone is sometimes wayyy better than being with someone who brings you down emotionally. You need to put YOURSELF first and get rid of any toxic people. Do things that make you happy and if your parents aren't supportive, then do not help them financially. You are not in the wrong for standing up for yourself. I advise u to spend a few days a week waking up early, putting on a nice outfit, look in the mirror and say "I am beautiful and God loves me. I can do this!" And go out and spend the day job hunting. And idk if u have your own car, but if u dont, just take the bus and once u get a job, save up for a used car (don't give away your money). You got this!

When I travel, I get baby wipes,( and some refills-100 wipes for 99 cents) in the plastic container, add some water, lemon/lime juice, witch hazel and a little lavender oil to keep up the hygiene between rest stops and hotels, which is particularly good for "personal areas" as well.
