Car Jumping From Minmus To Kerbin

Ойындар

I think this surpassed my last distance record with the car jumping, haha. The ramp and car that I have used before were modified to operate in space. The car had to be made to push it's nose down while accelerating so that it would remain on the surface of Minmus, that is the reason why the front tires would blow out. @@landon5030 Seems like the errors i made too. Dont make your rocket too small, a small mun lander is nice and all but *dont* make it too small. Try to get it to orbit and have an eye on your fuel. Play with the Maneuvernodes, alot! try to minimize the m/s needed for the transfer burn to other planets. If you designed your rocket and youre confident that it will reach orbit: Launch at full throttle. At about 10km height, lean your rocket to 45° (you can see that on the navball) and make sure the rocket is stable!. Switch to map view ( press M todo that) and continue burning until your apoapsis says 100 to 120km. If it reached 100km (for example!) stop burning. Click the apoapsis and add a maneuver, drag the right yellow thingy (prograde node) to increase periapsis until it is about the same height (1 - 2km difference would be ideal). Wait until you arrive at the maneuver node, select maneuver on the SAS controlls and burn until the green m/s bar is empty, or as close to 0m/s as you can get it. Do the same stuff to plan a transfer burn to the Mun or Minmus. Try to get the encounter close to the surface, but not too close!. For the Mun, 15-30km should be enough. Do everything you did before again. NOW, watch Scott Manley's videos! LOL, im too lazy to write more. But what im trying to "say" is: once you get to LKO, transfering to other planets isnt hard.

Nikola Wiche It’s speed relative to each planet, you gained enough speed to take off from minmus, roughly 250 m/s, in that case you would be “free falling” away from Minmus and free falling towards Kerbin.
