conversion from ev to combustible engine is very complicated.engine gearbox crankshaft needs to ve changed

Hello sir. Brilliant way of thinking and execution of the prototype. Kudos 👍 Just another engineer’s input: while the engine runs on idle during complete ev mode, why don’t we use the alternator that is generating current (given it generates less wattage, yes) to charge the battery pack (along with externally charging the battery) with a step up transformer and Ac-Dc converter can be used to utilise that idling engine to charge the battery to some extent- like a top up. Also while ev mode is switched off, same system can be utilised to charge the battery as well - like long trips can be done on fuel and once you enter city, EV mode can be switched on. Full disclaimer: I don’t know much about electronics involved but think this will give it an extra edge to users who think of such conversions.

Your point is correct. but from my understanding when output load is increasing while charging alternator needs to spin more. for that full consumption might get increase. we need to think in that mind then plan

Above you explained technology applied car already have in the market. It is "Nissan note e-power". But, i think it dont have in our country. About 2 years back i had e mail to Indian Nissan regarding manufacturing of this model Car, But they replied, this model not manufacturing in India.

The Atr (dynamo) produce 12 v only this not enf for recharge idle rpm also not enf for charging amp.

You have a nice idea to charge the battery when EV battery is fully drained and no charging port options available. But this beats the purpose of not burning fossil fuel to drive the car. To charge the EV battery the engine is going to rev up and burn more fuel than the combustion engine would require to output the same/more energy as the EV motor would, and would not be efficient. Charging with grid power would be the most efficient and serves the purpose of saving fuel cost and reducing carbon emissions. But the idea would work on emergencies where grid-power is not available, but there is no need to do it, JUST drive the car using combustion engine instead.

As per his idea during the EV mode the engine is running, so can use that ideal run by fitting an alternator this will add up to the efficiency

Hi sir really you had taken real effort for this conversation. Basically this will be very helpful for old vehicles below 10-15years old car we can able to reduce the pollution control drastically, in upcoming cars cost is too much for EV. Current video EV conversation cost is high and Kms also less only it to be increased upto even 150-200kms with this range. Likewise motor fitted in vehicle wheel bearing to be consider for chennai flood situation it to be withstand. Service availability and warranty also be declare.

Sir, this will be very expensive option and this feature is available in VOLVO XC90 Hybrid, May be not for small cars if you address all the safety measures like battery cooling system, breaking etc. for which, we need to bring in automation (without automation it will be complex process to drive a car), it will be too costly if we are going for 30 to 40 KM per charge.

I will add a small info. Milegae shows in mid is kms travelled. Example put your vehicle in ramp kind ( lift through chase) and run the vehicle in 60kms it will show more mileage. As per your question if you put in idle and the tyre is doesn't moves mean it assumes that vehicle in traffic and shows less kms. Reset your trip and keep in neutral it will shows much lesser kms
