I have installed CNG for my Alto 800 CNG LXi 2014. Installed the CNG gas at 1,17,000 KMS in 2022, I have drived 43,000 kms in CNG, Here are my observations, 1. Get regular oil changes done at every 10K km, this will improve the longevity of the engine, this has nothing to do with CNG conversion, some might say that CNG burns hotter than petrol, which is true, but diesel also runs hotter, and almost all the engine oils available in market are compatible with all 3 fuel types, so they are designed to withstand heat, trust the engineers and don't worry about it. 2. Use NGK plugs, don't go for iridium, platinum or silver plugs, change every 16K km 3. Don't go beyond 90kmph. The engine of your car is designed to run with petrol and trying to run it using CNG is a big change for the engine. Let me explain this in simple words, just imagine your petrol car is tested to run at 5000 RPM continuously for several hours, without any issues, the engine internals and cooling system is designed for that much load and temperature and let the temperature be "X degrees", if you drive the car on CNG at same 5000 RPM the temperature might go beyond "X degrees" which is not good for the engine components and cooling system, but if you will run the engine at 2500 to 3000 RPM on CNG the temperature will not exceed "X degrees" and this will increase the life of your engine significantly. 4. I have changed Petrol Injector three times during this period 5. I have faced performance lags when driving in city traffic 6. I have protected my suspension using Car stabilizer pro (carstabilizerpro.com/products/) 7. Cold start the car on petrol and drive it for at least 5 km before switching to CNG mode. Also, try to drive on petrol for 2 km before switching off the engine for long intervals. It is not a myth, it is important for the longevity of your engine valves. 8. Mileage: 27 kms in City with AC and 32 kms in Highways with AC

Mr Birla, by seeing your video on cng conversion at Alandur Chennai, I fixed the CNG kit for my car there. But within 2 months after that dealership was closed and now I'm struggling to get post fitment service. The person Mr. Mohan is not responding and I am struggling with improper cng fitment by using north Indian technicians. So please don't promote this kind of business only for money.

Warranty might get void, if sales and service is disappeared then we are gone, CNG blast , boot, everyone should get out of car to put CNG, car might not be compatible, engine power will have issues, can't catch hold and ask if something goes wrong , peace of mind is lost. lot of issues are there...

I have fitted my swift dzire 2008 model with motozen cng kit 2 months back.cost around 45000Rs..But i felt performance lg when compared to petrol.After reaching 80km speed you won't feel performance lag,in slow speed you will feel the lag.mileage wise its far good.My car mileage petrol 15kmpl 104rs and cng 1kg 79.80rs 23km.if you want mileage then we can go for cng.

My suggestion is Pls don't go for after market cng's for latest model cars.The engine noise will differ when runs in cng and also after market performance tuning is not upto factory fitted performance.

Please try a comparison video of Adhani CNG vs Indian Oil CNG pumps range testing. I found big difference like Indian Oil CNG gives lesser mileage or they filled low pressure not sure. i’m getting 27kms per kg from Adani CNG and 20 or 21 from Indian Oil

Yes, for some vehicles if the Petrol filling point having adequate space then we fix the CNG filling point there also.

Yes, we can fix it you will get more mileage and good performance but only thing is RTO Endorsement is not possible for smart hybrid vehicles because it already running in dual fuel that is Petrol and Electric.

You can get minimum 60℅ more than your petrol mileage. For example if you get 20kmpl in petrol then your CNG mileage will be 32 to 38 km per kg.
