I have a 22 Inc kicker when I hook up the sub wires to the amp the sud dottoms out and stays down

Blue Led Indicator of my Pioneer GM D-9601 Class-D Mono Car Amplifier starts to blink & produce distorted/interrupted sound after playing it normally for more than one hour. I am powering it with the help of 12V 50 amp SMPS to play two 12" sub woofers at home the amplifier has three 40 amp fuses. Plz suggest how to fix it ?

I have two amps in my car .. both are capable of being used for bass or vocals .. amp1 is being used for vocals and amp2 is being used for bass .. everything worked good for one whole day until i turned the car off .. the next day i turned the car on and only my bass (amp2) was playing .. so the first thing i did was check to see if amp1 was receiving power .. both amps were powered on and were not in protection mode .. so, to troubleshoot what i did was unhooked my subs.. i ran speaker wire from vocal speakers to the bass amp .. i switched bass amp from LPF TO HPF and i adusted the frequency on the bass amp accordingly and then i took rcas out of bass amp and replaced with rcas from vocals amp .. vocals came on immediately .. so vocal speakers are still new and working and the issue is not the rcas or the head unit or the speaker wire .. i put bass rcas back into bass amp and i hooked subs back to bass amp and set frequency back to LPF and bass came back on .. i put vocal rcas back in vocal amp and hooked vocal speakers to vocal amp and no vocal sound .. i also tried left and right speaker terminal on the vocal amp because its a two channel amp, but still no vocal sound, but both amps are powered on with no protection light .. any ideas???

I have a tube in my son's car and all the sudden it has low distorted sound. It won't adjust volume up or down. It's bridged. Gonna troubleshoot in a couple of hours. Any suggestions? I'm going to try the 2 regular channels and see if they work. Sub with multimeter read 3.4 for 4 ohms

Actually if you wire more than one speaker on the same channel that is called parallel wiring and the amplifier can only shut off and cause a overload led to come on if you go below your amplifiers stable impedance which doing this is can not only shut your amplifier off but it can also severely damage your car amplifier and cause a fire so be careful when wiring multiple speakers on the same channel

Travis Gulley bro very helpful.. I'm one of those do it yourself type guys but atmost a beginner.. I'm a crescendo 800.2 I wired 4 speakers together on one channel.. no sound but I can hear that the subs on... I'm going to try 2 speakers per channel see if that solve my problem? Correct or 1 speaker per channel

Some amps are trash. You have to try tuning the frequencies, turn down the gain if it's too muddy. And mess with the subsonic settings to cancel out frequencies that resonate, and pull out the higher notes that don't seem to want to register. Then you have smooth sound all the way from the low to the high end. Cheers

Thumbs down. This is common sense crap. My amp works but cuts off and on with no protection light lit and the green power light is lit. If the Amp goes off and I bump it, it comes back on. What's my problem?

I had that same problem too then when I looked the fuses just keep blowing. I just unhooked mines. I'm still looking for solutions.

I have a I have a my stereo my amp it kicked it the radio shuts off in high no volume then I don't know why it pays good when I say that 20 anything over 25 it cuts out in and out why
