No deposit wasn’t a big deal - that car wasn’t ready the way you like it anyway and we all know you were going to do it. A pre- prepped car that could drive off the lot - probably (I’m sure you read people pretty well). It wasn’t wasted effort. More importantly, Claire has a car…GAME ON!

In my own long experience I have never bothered chasing a customer that’s hard to contact. They’re gone, forget them.

Just shows the decent guy you are Kev, always take a deposit,we had our own car sales for 15 years lost count of people who didn't turn up for college even though they had left a deposit,great work on the car as always.

Hi kev & claire,so I've gotta say just listening to the guy on the test drive and then you saying he was happy to take the car and do the wheels and polish the car etc he was definitely wanting that car for alot less and for him to totally ignore you after everything you did to get that car ready for collection he's totally out of order and I'm thinking he just wanted to test drive it and be on the channel which I don't blame him and would love to meet you but wouldn't do it that way,anyway you did an amazing job on the prep on that car and it looked like new so glad it's now gone to a nice owner👌I'm looking forward to seeing what claire has bought😬😁I'm glad you put the slow moving footage and music in of the bmw as love that part of your videos kev,cheers guy's and keep up the good work🙂👍

Hi Kev. Love the videos and especially the natural way you chat to us. A couple of requests, well 3 actually; I can’t hear Claire when you are chatting between yourselves. You come through loud and clear!! Can you list the cleaning products you use. I know you did a video several months ago but a list of the general purpose cleaner, polishing compounds and even the pads you use would be great, as I haven’t a clue where to start. And finally, could you list your available cars on your web site first and have the sold cars in an archive…or something. Sorry for long message. Keep up the good work.

Hi kev great job on the BMW, I must say again your work ethic is incredible and you have a great partner to keep you on track! That happened to me once when I was selling cars the guy came, saw it was really happy phoned me every day and back then no mobile phones day of collection didn't come couldn't get hold of him, worried something had happened eventually got hold of his mother she told me he'd gone on holidays with his friends!!!!!! Glad Claire has a car Match On!!! Can't wait.

Hi Kev Nice video again Lovely bimmer and as you have said very difficult this days to find decent e90/91 with nav/paddles/xenon with leds and decent history a specially 3.0d not even mentioned 3.5d(personally I think they has been more abused by owners who couldn't afford m3 or 35i) About this customer: He was looking like very genuine man who had some knowledge and really wanted this car but as we know ppl this days are very weird 🙄 so nothing really souprise me Your work ethic like always is great! I do still learn and try to prep my cars to high standard aswell and for sure I'm perfect match to you with cleaning OCD.. 😂 Regards

As I listened to your conversation during and after the test drive the guy and his stories tickled me in a suspicious way, like he was trying to sell you the car not the other way around. Hence I'm not surprised by the conclusion, not gonna lie.

You have to get a dipper regardless of how much someone says they want it!

Eve Kev……Love the lines in the mats! Not…….lol Mate……we spoke the morning when your buyer was due to pick up and I know how disappointed you were on all counts! And as we know…..you take it home with you…..you take it on your break with the family….and you run everything over and over in your head! It’s happened to us all…..and it’ll happen again buddy because people like your man take our kindness as potentially a sign of weakness! And he probably thinks…..ah he’s a nice bloke, he’ll get over it. Now would he have really taken it that day? Probably not…..he knew you were a perfectionist and you wouldn’t let it go without it being 100%. Nothing is truly sold…..until your waving it down the road! If he was a proper decent bloke….he would have got a message to you and explained the reasons why. I’ll be honest with you and we’ve had this conversation before, some of the best deals we do are the one’s we don’t! By the sounds of things you would have lived with him and tucked him into bed every night! You’ve sold the car now…..and probably to a more deserving customer. Amen……much ❤️.

Sadly this happens. Dreamers want a drive in other cars, the same as people view posh houses with zero intention of buying. I’ve had exactly this happen to come view a motorcycle……nowt as strange as folk!

Just speculating but could be a number of things. Maybe he's bi-polar and he was on a high the day he came and test drove the car and is now on a low and curled up at home. Or he could be a conman - they act very friendly and appear to be a really nice person while they're scoping/playing you. Make doubly sure your work cctv is all working correctly. I suggest you cease chasing him any further, in case he's unstable/a crook.

Why would you want to go and spend 40k plus on a brand new 2024 model when you can have this one with many miles left in it , better looking and a fraction of the price. Ok the technology in the new car is 10 times better but a car is for driving and not for bragging that you’ve spent £250 on my subscription service downloadable heated seats.
