Overall quality of center armrest of VW are very low. So simple. Just a leather or plastic (I dunno) armrest cut hole and put a cheap plastic cupholder and install it. So simple only 😂😂😂 Even Honda armrest looks better built.

Nice review

when closing the VW Arteon door, use a soft close rather than slamming it. Slamming the door can damage the door electronics and windows

Can you lock the car? I want to hear what the lock confirmation horn sounds like. I have a 21 Arteon R Line and my horn is so soft (only when you lock) that you can't hear it once you walk a car length away. The regular driving horn is loud, like a typical VW horn....just muffled when you lock it.

This car is indeed awesome blah3 but the rear center armrest cupholder defect is such a sore to my eye. I've never seen any cheap Proton or Perodua like that. And for a very new car. VW is still sleeping, seems like they don't care about quality. Although it can be considered minor issue and solvable, that excuse can't be accepted.

This is the first VW I'm seeing like this. Haha just a one off issue. Nothing to fuss about. Like any car, some units are lemon or assembly not perfect. Again the dealer is stupid. If I'm the dealer, before giving out the car to reviewer or even ppl, I'll check everything in order. Then rectify the cupholder thing.
