Thanks for watching! What are some wild unexpected experiences you've had during a photoshoot?
That is terrific. The greatest tool in your tool box is your persistence.
It's just heartwarming to see someone who has been in the game for so long pouring his heart out to make the perfect image, it's is award worthy. Very motivational Pye
I could barely breathe in that sandstorm! I still can't believe the clients were down to keep shooting. The images were well worth it though!
What I like about how Pie works is that no matter what situations he finds himself in, he always seems so relaxed and aware of how he will solve problems. Do you want a photo on the top of Everest, no problem, we do it? I guess I'll miss my flip flops. Stunning photography Mr. Hats Off.
this was the shot! What a great experience! I think the image is really good, but if you felt the experience, then the image is greater! superb
Certainly going above and beyond by all involved but the results speak for themselves!
My guy Pye, magic man all magic. More CAMP, I love it
Just wow!! Great to see how you built this shot up, and what an amazing couple for sticking with this! After seeing the results they must be so blown away and glad they stuck with it. Amazing pictures Pye! 🤗. Simon.
Pye is legendary! This is work I'd love to create
Thank you for the high-quality instruction and inspiring narrative, Pye!
The image that came out is absolutely amazing. Also the information shared is very informative. I believe the image came out was all worth the challenges in the shoot.
Storming shots ☺️
!!!! Amazing !!!! Love your work so much!
Fabulous story, fabulous images.
Love this session. Walkie-talkies would help.
Amazing and you’re an amazing educator as well.
That is a nice shot Pye - good work :)
Dare I say… I think every one of your members would love to go on a photo shoot with you..… And 90% of the photographers / Clients would have bailed on that shoot…What an truly epic photo ..One to last a lifetime ..👍🏻Once again… Ty Master Pye for dropping knowledge on your young Jedi photographers ..😎
You got some incredible shots. I have an tip for you. Don't rely on the weather forecast. Weather forecasting is the only job I know where they can be wrong all of the time and still have a job.
Epic photo and crazy experience! I was thinking before you mentioned the rain cover that anything meant to keep out water would keep out sand.
Wonderful story and capture, really enjoy all your videos
Excellent picture 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great tips and very inspirational. Its making me think differently about my photography.
Hi Pye, Thank you for your video's. I find your way of explaining in such a very peacefull and clear way very helpfull. And I absolutely love the picture in this video! You have a new fan from Holland.
Great video!! A real "sandstorm" of good tips from your experience. Thanks. Loved the end result. Definitly will give it a try the next time I'm caught in a windy desert.
Amazing work, thanks for sharing
Such an epic story Pye. So good. I love shooting in inclement weather. You get the best shots. What an absolutely amazing shot and story. That's the best part of this is the story behind it. I have a few shots like that too. I can't wait until your next favourite shot happens and to hear the story behind it. Thanks for sharing all your tips Pye.

Exactly, it was very inspiring and at first o was like "Damn it's 20min long and it's already 3:00AM!" but it was so interesting, almost like am adventure that I kept me in to the end and didn't seem that long at all. I hope the customers wasn't a free shoot considering the 1200$USD damage though 😮
Wow! That’s an incredible photo, love the idea of using the rear flash!
2005 I was shooting in White Sands in a 40-50 mile sand storm. Btw, anything below 4-5 feet is sand, anything above is dust. Not that it really mattered in this case, because, when I got back in the car, I detached the 16-35 and a bunch of sand fell on the floor. Fortunately, having lived out there during the Shamal winds season, I had CPS send me equipment, so I wasn't on the repair bill hook. From a shot perspective, I would have switched the couple - placing the bride on the left to match the contour of the sand dune when the groom lifted her. Otherwise, a great shot given the conditions.
An addition to the camera bag to be prepared in case you forget the rain covers which can be somewhat bulky. Large zip lock baggies, plastic grocery bags and rubber bands help out in a pinch and come in handy. You just have to remeber that you have them with you. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Thank You that was great 👍🏼 don’t forget to put rain protection for your equipment 😂
Hi I must admit that shoot was brilliant. I mite try it at skeggness England 😆 always windy there.
As a avid off road vehicle owner that has been to Glamis many times how did you avoid the off road traffic? You must have shot on a Tuesday or Wednesday ...LOL !!!!! Well done.
Really liked the video! I have been watching a lot of your stuff on Creative Live (waiting to get through that before I make the investment for premium on SLR lounge) I have been a part time photographer since 2011, and I am getting ready to make the jump to full time. I am learning a ton from all of your content. Thank you!
Hi , love your tutorials on youtube. Its been a great help. M going to goa. I have 3 canon lenses. 50mm 1.8 18-55mm 70-300mm Which lens should i skip as i don't want to carry extra weight.
Would love to learn from you individually! Plz Message how we can get connected
Thanks Pye

What is the name of the location - I couldn't understand what you said that well 'something' the Imperial Sand Dunes?
So, you’re telling me that you sacra give your lens for the shot… and still make money?! I’m having trouble believe that.
Pye you have a problem you raise the bar so high I don't know how you going to beat it. I guess it's a nice problem to have
