It was tethered shooting capabilities that drew me to Capture One many years ago. But this regard, it is still unmatched in the industry.

I use catalogs for my personal work, I import into a folder with the Camera tag, so Fuji and Canon are separate, and I import them separately with separate style presets. For export, I have similar recipes, with export folder set to something like "../Jpg" for the jpg recipe and a filename postfix of "[CO]" so I know which program exported it; if edited via Affinity Photo or Photoshop, I add other tags at the end. Note the two dots in the filename; that means it will go up one directory to the root capture folder, and create a separate "Jpg" folder next to the Raw folder. Very handy. I also tend to add Color Tag to the folder structure, so Selects and Alternates are separated. Missing is the ability to rename the colour tags, so instead of Green and Purple, it would say Selects and Alternates. I do that manually after export. As for metadata management, I import with Photo Mechanic, because Capture One like Lightroom isn't any good at metadata. I loved Apple's Aperture for that before they abandoned it.

I do a lot of flat lay focus stack photography and I was wondering if there is any way to move the focus point via Capture One while tethering in live view? I am new to this program, any help would be appreciated!

15:13 You added a slash (not a backslash). Since MacOS is a UNIX-like OS. Apart from that: very helpful. Thank you.

I know this is a video about capture one, but how did he got rid of the hot spot that appears on the bottle in the first photo (1:46) ? we can see him putting a tripod holding a filter between the flash and the bottle at 2:47 (maybe a polarizer?), does it removes the hot spot or just smooths it and then it is removed on post production? thanks in advance

If there is already a folder with subfolders will COP use these names for the catalog naming? Like ‘Travels’ and subfolder ‘Amsterdam’ and ‘Chicago’ etc. I am, not yet, using COP and will get to test this this weekend.

Couldn’t you add chapter markers and descriptions so we don’t have to scroll through a long video to find what’s useful? It’s so easy to do and would be a great help for your customers.
