A long gone cat but his meows echo on.
I have a suggestion, move the type at the bottom to the top, or make it smaller or no typing. Most photos the interesting parts are at the bottom but with the type there one can't see it until it goes away then you are on to the next photo.

No one would want to live in the old days since there was no air conditioning , TV, internet , most home heating was coal or wood , few paved roads outside of town, few drugs worked well , no boob jobs, no birth control , very few went to college or had a washing machine , etc
