You're getting quite witty with your comments He he,lovin those low notes, your music is like the perfect soundtrack to these collections, some very interesting ones here. Just got my Mums piano today...it is electric,a full size Yamaha clavinova..clp 920 but it should still envoke some emotions once I get acquainted with it :-)

As well as music, I also wrote a lot of satire. I fight the urge to give every single photo a funny strapline. Actually, I'm considering starting another separate channel with just that theme. So, this channel can remain semi serious or with a mix for my regular viewers who prefer this content.... and then have a second account more humor based. I'm asking a few regular viewers for their feedback so let me know your thoughts on if you think a second "all-' humor" strapline channel would be fun.

Thank you for your comment. Actually, as a regular viewer and commenter, I'd be interested in your opinion. Comedy is my true love. I have written quite a bit of satire over the years and have slowly been injecting some humor into this channel. However, I am considering starting another channel where all of the photos have funny straplines and just keep this one more serious... or with a mix, like I've been doing recently. Can't decide if an entire channel with historical photos and funny straplines would go down as well as this one does. Any input would be appreciated.

@@AmazingHistoricalPhotos personally I think it would, especially if they could be sperated and was clearly obvious that one was of historical note and the other tongue in cheek satire or keep the same format with this one channel and have one day where you drop satire in the mix with notification so viewers are aware it's your channel . Not that it's any of my business to instruct or direct but I would steer away from the seaside postcard type of humour, but this isn't my call. Perhaps as a trial you could release a set of photographs as you normally would but head the title differently ' Amazing Historical photographs with a satirical twist' or similar to see the sort of feedback you get from all your subscribers and anyone else that happens to chance upon it. I still remember the Monty Python photograph with the caption 'Nun shall pass' 🤣 that was absolute gold and had the comments section in a frenzy, so if you've got more nuggets like that up your sleeve it would be rude not to share them. Whatever you decide, all the very best of luck to you and take care.

The diving ''on'' the frozen lake or river is obviously a photo-montage :-) Amazing, entertaining and, for some, very touching photos, as always. Keep up the good work :-)

Full respect to Bonds and their trouser suits, but I wonder what that 1938 Times Square photo crowd was really there for. I enjoyed this collection. The most striking contrast was between Orville Wright and those stewardesses preparing food on a plane. Not a huge number of years separate them, but there was a lot of progress made.

Many times a suit would have two pairs of pants to help with the wear and tear on the pants, as most men in those days had to make their suits last as it was costly to buy them. They didn't have the more durable fabrics that we have nowadays.
