The Captain America movies are oddly so relevant to modern day and yet so old fashioned (in a good way) all at the same time. These films have intentionally pitted a morally upright man of integrity against modern cynicism, fear, paranoia, and protectionism and I love every limit of it.

These movies about a man out of time. His world left long ago, in the moment when he fell in the ocean. World with other human values, with his friends, with everything he known. So it's very nice, that so "old fashioned" movies go out now

This movie had a very, very deep meaning to me. I loved Ironman1, Cap1 was alright. I walked into Winter Soldier thinking oh it will be a good watch. Instead, I walked out mesmerised and inspired. Cap's the man for sure. He turns the other cheek like no one else in this movie. You know what they say 'Attitudes are contagious.'

Bucky was not the villain of this movie. The Winter Soldier was. They are two different people. One was the friend of Steve while the other was an identity created an maintained by Hydra. This scene is his victory against the Winter Soldier.

I’d still struggle to call the Winter soldier a villain, he was still a victim because he was brainwashed and tortured, an asset.

This song honestly makes me burst into tears. This movie makes me burst into tears. Just... everything that Buck has gone through, and only to break away from his torture to see himself beating his best friend in the whole world's face in. You can see the pain, the sorrow, the anguish that he feels at the moment he realizes it. It absolutely breaks my heart. Bucky still felt he needed to protect Steve even after the serum, and to resurface as himself doing the exact opposite crushed him. That would be why he left after he saved Steve. He couldn't bear the idea that he hurt the one person he wanted to protect.

The piano part breaks my heart. I rarely cry during films (Bridge to Terabithia is a notable exception), but just listening to this makes my throat close up like I'm about to cry. I guess I'm just genuinely attached to these characters. A+ to Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan.

UGLY FUCKING CRYING at this exchange between Steve and Bucky. That look of sheer horror on Bucky's face once he FINALLY remembers who he's trying to kill gets me every damn time.

The fact that they re-use this soundtrack at the beginning of FATWS ep 5 tells a lot about both Bucky and Sam characters

This whole song tears my heart up, but the soft part that starts at 2:00 absolutely kills me. How do you listen to this and not cry like a baby??

The best moment in the movie for me. It speaks volumes how in a film loaded with all sorts of great action and suspense that it's best sequence is an emotional one like this. Steve telling Bucky he's with him till the end of the line and Bucky remembering their friendship and alliance, it hits so many emotional notes. To me Bucky/Winter Soldier isn't a villain in the true sense of the word, Hydra's the true culprit. Bucky was manipulated and brainwashed the entire time into committing their evil and essentially being Hydra's garbage boy. It makes Hydra all the more deplorable of an organization that they took a kind-hearted, brave and dedicated young man like Bucky and made him into a monster.

Watched the movie again after a couple of years. I could say so much about the movie, but this....I have to say it. Next to the Winter Soldier's theme, this is one of the best soundtracks in the film.

If Cap does die in Endgame, I do hope this theme comes back. I doubt they'll reuse the track but it would be so emotional and sad!

Um.. Sebastian Stan (The guy who plays him)signed up for 9 movies. I don't think "Bucky's" gonna die anytime soon. :D

As somebody who usually only listens to metal, this song brought me to tears. It's almost as beautiful as the Last Of Us theme song.
