See, I'm not the kinda guy who wants to make this to hang on my wall. I want this to fulfill my dreams of utilizing a captain america shield in real life. I would bring it every where; at the mall, on a date, in the shower and while I'm riding my pet shark into battle. So to answer my burning question...can I dick around with this thing like an eight year old? I'm an 18 year old college student and all I want in life is to play with a cap shield. Can I throw it? If I can will it be awesome looking when I do it? How much damage can it take? Does it have a ring to it that sounds like liberty? Will I make bald eagles cry do to the sheer patriotism it holds? All these questions must be answered

To me, This is the most affordable Captain America Shield and it was amazing! But to me the best Captain America Shield are the EFX and Marvel Masterworks Collection Shields, They used the same molds that the Screen Used Props used.

Just wanted to let you know that this was a great build. I followed your steps and now I have an awesome Captain America shield on my wall. Good work and thanks for the "how to".
John walker probably watched these tutorials to make his shield 🤣🤣
Damn got beat to make John Walker jokes
All I can say is WOW. By far the best DIY for a movie-styled Captain America Shield yet. You were very informative and the finished product is superb! Thank you very much for this tutorial, and you have earned a sub my friend! I look forward to more vids!
This has become so much meta in a wonderful way 😂.
I watched this video before and looked up the sled on Amazon and again today I think the price of the sled literally went up because of this lol
The one frame where you show the "Flrexible Flyer" information, as well as the LINK IN THE DESCRIPTION! You are the truest MVP! This is PERFECT for a starting off point. Taskmaster Shield can finally be made
All the links on where to buy the materials at the cheapest price have been posted in the description below the video!

This looks so legit it's incredible
Just finished my shield. Made a few changes to your instructions and added battle damage. Thanks again. Came out great!
I’ve been working on this slowly for about 2 years (ok so maybe it sat in my shed for over a year). I used a cricut to cut brushed aluminum vinyl for the star, and it looks fantastic. Highly recommend. Great tutorial. Thanks!

Nice Job dude! What if I wanted a darker red and blue that was somewhat transparent over metal? I've been wanting to paint my motorcycle gas tank with the Winter Soldier blue and grays. Maybe I should mail it to you and have you do it. Again, nice work!!!

This is (as I have seen so far) the best D.I.Y. Tutorial on the internet for making a Capt. America shield. (This in my humble opinion is even better than some store manufactured props!) Thanks a bundle for posting this, I can not wait to start mine (I just need to save some of my money first) Again thanks for the clear instructions and easy to follow along video! I look forward to more prop D.I.Y. videos from you!

bloodyguy9898 So boss bro! major props. Both the shields you showed look awesome as if they would be used in the actual film. So dope. nuff respect

Love this video very detailed and helpful, I bought a plastic one from a Halloween store. I remember working the renaissance Fair and one of our guild members talking about making his shield out of something like this. I never learned the process but I kept it in mind. Now that I see it being done I got a few shields to make.
Excellent tutorial. In the process of making one and I am following this step by step.
the best I've ever seen good job bro
Wow! Awesome job👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
