Attention all Marvel fans! Witness the incredible restoration of the iconic Captain America's mask and shield after an intense battle! The once battered and worn shield has been meticulously repaired to its former glory, while a new mask has been created! Every dent and scratch has been carefully taken care of, and you will be amazed at the level of detail that has gone into bringing back these beloved symbols of freedom and justice. To start with, we applied silicone mortar to the head. After it had hardened, we attached bandages soaked in plaster mortar to create an impression of the head. Then, we poured cement mortar into this cast to make a copy of the head. We sanded down the copy a bit and melted a sheet of plastic onto it to make it fit tightly around the our model. We shaped all the irregularities and trimmed the excess, then cut and glued the soft material to the plastic mold. Next, we painted the entire future mask and cut some gold details which we also attached to it. The final touch was the addition of a strap with bindings with added leather for softness, which we attached to the mask to make sure it held well on the head. After finishing the mask, we moved on to restore the shield. First, we taped it and covered it with a heavy fabric. Then, we poured a thin layer of heavy glue over it. Once it had dried, we removed any excess pieces and painted the shield in its usual colors. Now that we have completed the restoration, our the customer is satisfied!
