She’s incredible

This guy is a genuine poet, their lyrics are such a rich blend of keen insights, always the tension between the good and bad in a world that is continually baffling.

He is the current poet of rock/pop music, much like Simon and Garfunkel were of the 1960s.

Ezra Koenig is perhaps the finest melodist of his generation

Man, that is some serious soundstage engineering, sound is so crisp and compressed. I love this stripped down version of Capricorn.

I've always been more of a casual VW listener until recently, so apologies to the real fans if this is basic VW lore! The crunchy Italian opera-style Rs (and potentially Ezra's diction while singing in general) have been keeping me awake lately! Has he ever talked about it? Took my kids to see them Friday night in SLC at Kilby Block Party festival and caught ‘the first evening performance of this song’. Beautiful, classic tune here. They are great live. Closest thing to seeing the Talking Heads live in 1984 that you can see now. New album is a wonderful work of art. Give it a listen if you haven’t yet.
