The real deal- her guitar parts are sometimes so intricate/beautiful I forget she’s the one person playing it. She’s not really afraid of open tunings- reminds me a little of Joni in that way. She is just a wonderful musician

Buck Meeks albums are great as well. Been fortunate to have seen him twice........and yeah, really approachable and down to earth. Great shows!

I love this song, but Sadness As A Gift is one of the best songs I’ve heard in my lifetime and I’m old.

Love the subtle lyric change from the studio version.. there’s a guy on the nape of my neck that hangs out there all day, he quantifies my every thought and he tells me not to play.. then he tells WHAT to play. So is it the angel or devil she’s instruction from? lol amazing…

She is a breath of fresh air-and her political stance on the ongoing genocide is also spot on. Love the acoustic recordings she did in the trailer a while ago. Great lyrics, and her big thief stuff is excellent too.

I've been a fan of Big Thief for a while, but I'm just now diving into Adrianne's solo back-catalog. One of my absolute favorite songwriters!

This is what I hoped she would do ever since I saw Big Thief in Buffalo with Nada Surf years ago. She has come a long way.

Having listened to the new album over and over for the past few weeks and occasionally singing along to especially this song in falsetto, made me realize I would really love to hear Adrianne collaborate with Justin Vernon. I think their voices would match each other very well

That's it exactly. Dad playing prine CD's in the truck is what made me "get" music for the first time. Big thief & Adrianne's solo stuff is the only music I can think of that's great in the same way prine was.
