I played the video without looking at any details and listened to it from another room. Had I not seen the comments, I would have had no earthly idea that this was a youth orchestra. They sounded better than some professional ensembles I’ve heard in my time.

Such a wonderful orchestra of young people and conductor - he is only 36 and was a lot younger in some of the earlier concerts. They always bring life to their performances which does not always happen with the older orchestras. An absolute delight to hear and see. Long may Gimnazija Kranj highschool continue to enthrall us.

I've played this piece many times, and it never gets old. There are so many different tempi and sudden changes, it's hard to keep it together. Also, it's impossible not to get caught up in the emotion even if you are an old player and have played it a million times. If your heart is not beating vivo during the build up to the finale, you need to retire.
