Capri is a beautiful dream, I grew up there in the early 50's and my daily commute to school up in the Piazzetta from Marina Piccola was Krupps walk. I learned to tell time on the big clock there and the black market currency trader who operated out of a basket shop, keeping all the different currencies up in baskets by the ceiling is now a bank. I have dear family members buried there.

Sono napoletana ma per motivi di lavoro purtroppo vivo in una città del nord. Napoli, la costiera, Capri... sono sempre nel mio cuore 💓, e appena posso ci ritorno. Un giorno mentre ero a Capri ho sentito una signora straniera che ha detto:" Dopo questo c'è solo il Paradiso". È vero, Capri non ha luoghi che si possano eguagliare in nessun posto del mondo. Capri worth a visit, best in May/June (September/October also), prices are low (not in absolute terms, low compared to high season), is not an island for every budget (sure, it always depends on what holiday you choose to have). A tip: if you are a group of friends it's not bad but there are better places, if you instead are with your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend etc, I honestly don't know how many places are better than Capri (because it's really wonderful).
