Capri Extra Thin Low Profile Master Wrench Set Review

these are Capri's ultra low profile forged (not stamped steel) Super thin wrenches, they are a pretty good value considering you can get a 6mm-24mm master set. The 6mm-19mm is really well priced, a bit more expensive for the 3 largers wrenches but they have good quality control and are very handy.

Many times I need a thin set of wrenches for low torque use. I embarrassingly use a set from the dollar store and haven't broken or stretched one yet!!! Thanks for ALL of your interesting and informative videos!

Thanks for the video! I am considering these because I could have used that slim 18mm on a sway bar link ball yesterday. I was able to make it work with another method, but would have preferred something like this. Great video

Having had to grind down a couple of wrenches on occasion over the years, I can say they come in handy. Eventually bought an SAE set (not Capri). But I think I will get these for metric.

Those are nice. And I bet they are stronger than you would think. Being 50% thinner does NOT mean they are 50% weaker. Accounting for that added heft in the "business end" I bet they are at LEAST 75% as strong as the full thickness versions. Also, If the manufacturer strived for a tighter fit on the actual hex head of a fastener, (essentially eliminating "slop") along with the straightness of the beams (which would keeps all the torque perfectly aligned and efficient)... I would think these could get up to 80-90% as strong as the standard versions... I'm curious if the manufacturer paid closer attention to the tolerances. If those have a noticibly tighter fit, I might have to spend the last of my 'stim check' lol...

The Chevrolet cruze 1.8 has the casting to accept an open ended wrench on the camshaft itself but will not allow the thickness of a normal open ended wrench. These wrenches would be perfect for that car.

I bought a cheap Jobsmart 1/2 wrench and thinned it down on the bench grinder plus bent it to the proper angle. The problem with thin wrenches like these is they are way too long to fit on some Briggs engines

CatMax. Anyway u could review bicycle tool competitors to ParkTool. Park is like the snapon of bike tools. Most everything else is anyone’s guess on amazon. ParkTool has the market on every KZread channel and every bike shop. No one can go against them cuz they’re popular and or sponsored. THX

When I started riding every weekend, it was more cost efficient to buy my own bike working stand and tools. I started buying tools on Amazon and most were crap. Yes, Park Tools are more expensive, but they do perform the best. I have also had very good luck with Pedro's Tools and Ice Toolz. Most common tools I use a lot are Park and the tools I use the least are from the other companies. Non specialty tools like wrenches and screwdrivers are out of my toolbox.
