North: What Are You Doing Markus? Markus: I'm Going To Send These Humans A Message *Plays Epic Music*

I know that I'm writing this in 2021, but... damn, this track (not only this track, but the entire soundtrack of DBH) is a masterpiece! This track is one of only a few that I've cried over. It has something unique - especially at 5:23 part - that it shouts to my face: "These androids want to be free!". I have to repeat this - god damn masterpiece! I was in shock when a soundtrack from DBH wasn't even nominated for the best audio design in 2018. Even though it's 2021 right now, I can still sometimes boot up DBH and enjoy the gameplay, soundtrack, voice-over - everything! (I apologize, if I write something wrong, I'm from Poland) :)

Cześć z 2023 roku! Cały DBH był jest i będzie arcydziełem! Tak bardzo chcę wrócic do 2018 roku gdy pierwszy raz zagrałem w DBH😢

Humans could never share the world with another sentient species. Humans would do anything to neutralize them so the other species would have no choice but to destroy humanity. After all, humans are the villains in real life.

Oh my gosh, I can't believe you put this one too, especially right after "Markus' Speech" last bit before this one starts. One of the best Markus tracks hands down! Thank you so much

When you know you shouldn't be burning things but you can't help but want to be that evil to show those humans who's boss. I love when games give you a choice.

Yep. I spent an hour or so after beating the game looking for this version in the official OST, came to the conclusion I must just be missing it somehow. Saw someone else play this mission again today and searched for the mission name and finally found it!

It plays in various Kara chapters but the most notable one would be at the beginning of “Midnight Train” when Kara arrives at Rose’s house, I believe it’s a variant of the song “I Am Kara” on the official soundtrack

Seeing your new mixes is like getting a surprise present or finding a french fry in a bag of onion rings :D please keep going Also just wondering: For the pirate cove bedtime story track is the monkey noise present in the original? It's kinda distracting but I don't recall hearing it in the game And I'm also wondering if there's an extended version for dark night since that track is so good

Dark Night has a tiny few differences ingame, but not enough that I cared to make a mix for now. It is mostly the OST version with the ability to loop over a few parts longer if needed. The bedtime story indeed has those electronic noises. But it gets quiter with each intensity layer. Meanwhile the game increases the playback volume gradually. So over the sound effects and dialog it is not really audible while I kept the same volume throughout

Hi I'm looking for music in particular (it would be a mix between "this is the end" and "we are people") that plays when markus awakens in the barricade while soldiers enter and he tries to protect the remaining androids. I was wondering if you can help me please. (Sorry for any grammar error)

It's actually just "we are people" cut a bit differently by QD themselves. There is nothing new in the track and the transitions were a bit too noticeable for me without any sound effects added, that's why I omitted it.

Very unfortunately this does not exist in the files. The track as such was composed for the Detroit trailer specifically by Lorne Balfe, who later re-used a part of it in the movie OST for Pacific Rim 2. The track is called "Rise of the Jaegers". That's about the only official release you will find. I did get to see the Hostage demo at gamescom 2016, which featured this OST in-game as well, including additional pretty awesome parts if I remember right. The confrontation was really epic sounding before it got replaced with the final "Your Choice" track. Sadly this beta version and all its assets have been wiped clean and are not on the disc :(

@@hamers61 Thank you! I didn't realise I was looking for it until now even though I've watched the E3 2016 trailer so many times just because its so good and well done lol. You're right, the hostage situation sounds really epic but I still think that the scene with Your Choice track is epic as well!

I believe it’s the same theme called ‘Meet Markus’ Unfortunately I can not filter out any sounds.. but I think you’re able to do that aren’t you? If you can extend that theme, would you be ok with uploading that? 😊

This chapter only make me love North more.

When I played as Markus I felt like a badass. When I played as Connor I felt pleasure. One chapter as Kara and I already wanted to kill her. Good thing Todd helped me. Thank you Todd.
