While calculating Average investment why we are adding the scrap value mam because for rest of the arr sums you haven't added the scrap value. Please clarify this mam

Without Scrap value. ARR on Machine A 14% and Machine B 0.6% so the profitability is Machine A. With Scrap value. ARR on Machine A 14.55% and Machine B 13.64% here also profitability is Machine A. Therefore Machine A is preferable. Correct aa mam.
