Thanks for in depth knowledge about capital gain tax. I have a query. I bought flat in june 1987 for 1,25,000. I further paid EMIs worth rs.1,56,000 upto 2000. Again paid Emis rs.2,00,000 upto 2011 and spent about 5,00,000 on home improvement. Sold flat in june 2023 for 45,00,000. What will be my capital gain? Can i take market value of flat 2000 year since cii revised in 2001. Coolectorate was rs. 32,50,000 in 2023. Can i take this amount as a price of flat or cii formulae. Pl guide for zero tax since i donot want to but any property.

What is capital gain in inherited property?
Post selling the property seller is constructing a house which will take minimum one and half to two years. Payment to contractor will be in phases alongwith purchase of various goods/items. In such a scenario is it still compulsory to deposit the money in CG account or the the money can be kept in savings account and transactions can be done and recorded online to show the proof? Request to please share your comments on the query.

an individual or HUF selling a residential property can avail tax exemptions from Capital Gains if the capital gains are invested in purchase or construction of residential property Crux- You have to invest capital gain not sales consideration so 3.5 lakh should be reinvest in another residential house

CII at incometaxindia.gov.in and get circle rate from your local area
You are focusing only on sale n purchase in the month of march and April. Whereas you should focus on normal transactions.
If we don't want to Buy new property where we can invest that money without paying tax that comes under tax deduction
