@@oskee007striperlife glad I found your video, was between the vsx or the vsx2… the longer handle on the 2 creates a slower retrieve. Fishing mostly inlets I’m going to go with a 250vsx if I can find one…

Yes I bought it. Gonna drop it off to get some custom stuff to it. It looks bad ass.

I got the same reel and thinking about getting a odm rod not sure if I should get the jigster or the version you got just want something a little stiffer for those heavier jigs

Yea the reel is bad ass. Love it just a little slow compared to the x2 300 I have. But perfect for working the lures slow. But yes the evolution is only for topwater not for jigging. The jigster is the way to go for jigging.

That reel sucks stella and saltiga is the better reel

Haha funny you say that. The vsx2 200 reel doesn’t suck it’s a bad ass reel but definitely not for the canal it’s for the surf. It’s a slow reel for the canal. I just switched back to my daiwa Saltiga 14,000 and yes way better reel for the canal. Now the vs2 300 I have is a bad ass reel for the canal. Very strong and fast retrieve I own them reels and all great reels for different application
