Catching lobster in the Cape Cod Canal can be very different than other places. This video gives you a idea of what it is like to Catch lobster in the Big Ditch. It is something I have come to love and has been something that I wanted to share. Its hard work and the bait can be gross. But the full traps at times makes it all worth it. I use to have ten traps in the canal myself, I did very well keep it up 👍

Threw my first trap in yesterday! Have a question, how long does the line have to be?
What license do you need to have? How often do you collect lures from a lobster trap?
Its a lot of work for a few bugs
Fuck that, just buy the lobster.
Too many poachers down the canal.......ive seen some guys get pretty creative at hiding their lines...lol

Hopefully you have a recreation permit and report any keepers to fish/wild life, if not you're destroying the ecosystem

You don't have to REPORT lobsters. Not in this state. That's ridiculous.
