What a beautiful thing to promote and preserve. There are so many bad things happening in the world, it's refreshing to see what you all are doing. God bless all your efforts.

I'm from San Antonio and Mariachi and Spanish Flamenco are part of the culture no matter your individual ethnicity. I love Mariachi music and my friends "Familia Champion" are legends here. I've been fortunate to learn Flamenco and Folklorico from them. Anybody would be lucky to learn from you. This school is wonderful.

What an amazing way for a family to spend their lives together and enrich the lives of others. "Somebody," up there is smiling. "He" loves Mariachi too!!

I met these two love birds at Cal State L.A. during my "summer bridge" days through SSP Program. It is a joy to see you pursue your VOZ dreams and heart-warming to see you instill such wonderful values to your children. Todo Pa' Delante Richard and Espie!

Richard and Esperanza are awesome people, I had the privilege to play with both of them and I was Angie's and America's teacher and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and I am so happy for them that they're keeping Mariachi music alive in the family and performing together. A true inspiration. Echenle ganas Richard, Espie, Angie and America.

Mil felicitaciones.

I am a Mexican American living in Kenosha Wisconsin where there are really no Mariachi musicians. Most are into Tejano music and Northern styles which is fine but people who play Mariachi style is rare unfortunately. Finding people who know how to play and sing the Huapangos is rare and a dying breed in America...thanks to the shitty media. I have played in punk rock bands in the past but now I am interested in starting a Mariachi conservatory in my area. I need people to contact me.

Mr. Mata you have such a beautiful family, your girls are so talented. You guys are my heroes for teaching Mariachi and keeping the tradition alive! I love mariachi music, and I struggle a lot with Jesus because he doesn't enjoy it as much as I do, Your quote about Mariachi music dying off would be horrible thing :( but sadly our children's generation do not want to keep it alive :(, Maybe I'll have better luck with Diego :)
