@CEIVE4EVER Amiguiño, dificilmente podemos chamar "galego" a esta lingua. O galego moderno é herdeiro desta lingua medieval galaicoportuguesa pero non é o mesmo.

Although I might sound heathen or something for this... Does anyone notice that the main theme to The Sims Medieval uses a version of this chant as the song? It sounds very much the same, only The Sims Medieval uses a form of Simlish that is like Latin, and the instruments slightly change. I'm not a Christian, but as a Jeiposist I feel these teachings as sacred as all other Jeiposist ones...in case you didn't know, these "songs" are in fact musical versions of Bible verses.

@CEIVE4EVER Onde pos ti o límite entre linguas, ¿na afinidade léxica? Entón acabaríamos falando dun continuum galaico-portugueso-leonés-castelán que comparte o 87% do vocabulario. Non sei se estás enterado de que os filólogos de Coimbra e Lisboa cuestionan abertamente a paternidade galega do portugués; para eles as influencias veñen do centro de Portugal cara ao norte (algo que tamén se defende no caso valenciano). Serían dialectos mozarábicos a orixe dos romances hispánicos.

Maybe The Sims Studio aims to promote the bible....but I honestly I think they were just picking out some quintessential Medieval songs and the Cantigas of Alfonso the Learned have that in spades. Many people have heard these songs in some form or another, they just aren't aware that they're from medieval Galicia.

@homesanto Levo 3 anos vivindo entre brasileiros e non falo con eles en español... Menos certos filólogos españoles, o resto dos filólogos concordan no inevitable, é a mesma lingua. O galego ten o 90% das palabras en común co portugués, porcentaxe similar ao que castelán de Argentina e o castelán de España.
